    There’s nothing wrong with being an old director. He’s afraid of failing. Unfortunately he believes what a lot of people write about him and he’s just so self conscious and egotistical that he thinks that his legacy will be that he left while on “top.” Top to me is being able to say something unique, not a post modern, pastish, mish-mash of others. He’s got plenty of fetish style, little to say in the form of substance. He won’t “retire” if he think people stopped caring.
