Willow & Jada Pinkett Smith: End Human Trafficking!

Jada Pinkett Smith brings her daughter Willow Smith to the launch of the Senate Caucus to End Human Trafficking at the Russell Senate Office Building on Wednesday (November 14) in Washington, D.C.

The 41-year-old actress joined Senators Richard Blumenthal and Rob Portman to bring awareness of the issue to Capitol Hill.

Jada recently talked about her parenting style.

“I think that old school style of ‘I’m your parent and I’m greater than you’ doesn’t work,” Jada told People. “What I establish with my children is a partnership. I’m not necessarily dictating what is happening in their lives.”

So basically what she is saying is, “I don’t want to actually parent my child or set any guidelines because it’s hard and it might make them not like me.” Sometimes parenting is hard and you have to be the bad guy. Our society is going to hell because of all these entitled kids who think the world owes them something.

Very admirable! Jada from all appearances, seems like an absolutely terrific mom, giving her daughter some real values.

Jada is lending her voice to an important cause: the end of the enslavement and abuse of countless innocent children and young women. In the past few years, I have recently become aware of this issue from films like “Human Trafficking”, books and articles. This is one of the most horrendous crimes to ever take place. To see celebrities being concerned with significant issues, step outside of the ‘show-biz[‘ sphere, and help to bring awareness of it, is good to see!!

If her daughter looked anything like her, she would have been a true beauty.

    Wow! Willow Smith!!! History repeating!

Seriously, why do some miserable people attack children?
I think I answered my own question.

    @A: You’re not funny.

They are part of waging a pogrom on against all of humanity couched as noble ends but actually instrumental in bringing about slavery through their very own actions. I suspect they are innocent of direct malice themselves, largely ignorant of the ultimate harm they bring, caught up in the sense they are doing what is right, but sadly, merely tools caught up in a greater thrust to end freedom as humanity historically has known it, in favor of a total surveillance, total tyranny police state. Sadly, it’s in response to a nearly non-problem, grossly exaggerated through their own ongoing fear-mongering campaign.

Lots of hate! Smith family is doing something right ..

I don’t hate Willow Smith. I’ve long been a fan. Mine aren’t ad hominem attacks. What she’s doing is dangerous. Demagogues are traditionally the most dangerous of those among us. Demagogues naturally gravitate to positions of power, hence the attraction to that limelight.

Willow has long been mocked on this site for being a child. Well she is certainly one powerful child now. She has been insulted as ugly more times than any person would want to endure. I suspect her current politics are the direct result of that derision, being made to feel unattractive. A classic historical case by comparison might be that of Andrea Dworkin, and how haters made her feel so ugly that it led to her politics of disenfranchisement for all.

Evidence of this might be seen in how Willow is pressured to dress. Her clothes are currently largely ill-defined, so as to conceal her natural curves, so as not to enhance them, ie. to hide her very femininity.

Once Willow’s own puberty hormones substantially kick in and she perhaps comes to recognize that her actions have been to largely oppress young people, Jada Pinkett Smith might find a major rebellious daughter on her hands, one who does an about-face and totally goes the other way, a major hotty, who then instead, embraces youth liberation rather, than oppressing it.

I find Willow’s original work, (before she was so viciously attacked, hence her current politics), still refreshing. Even some of the more ominous covers of her work are quite really something:

Celebrities should take the time to really understand the human trafficking issue before giving vague responses like, “End human trafficking.” It’s not that simple. We can’t just stop trafficking; economic and social issues are intertwined and must be addressed as well. Further, the western approach of “saving” third-world countries is definitely not the way to tackle the issue.

Willow has a huge head and looks like a guy.
