Johnny Depp plays his important role – dad – while attending an event at his children’s school on Tuesday (November 20) in Los Angeles.
The 49-year-old actor hung out with some pals outside during the afternoon. One of his friends had a giant eagle on his arm!
Next up for Johnny is the release of his film The Lone Ranger, in which Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice.

I know,I said ‘Johnny’ was in LA these past few months as he hasn’t been on location. what I said was for those who “worry” that he’s a terrible dad and doesn’t care about his kids after the split. I said he’s been with them all these months.

@Uups:Yes. She and her husband Bill Carter are the Godparents to Johnny’s kids and they’ve always helped him and Vanessa to raise them, as they are a couple without children. Ruth has been like a Mother to them, specially to Lily-Rose. Johnny’s kids have two Fathers and two Mothers! Lucky kids!@Elena: Ok, understood. Johnny Depp is Johnny Depp–what he wears is what he wears. I wonder if anyone who commented on these pictures really knows him? And you know what they say: “You can’t judge a book by its cover”. I give him 50 points for going to the school event in the first place. Must be hard for him to be ‘just a parent’ at those things since he’s so famous. Hey–Johnny! You could move to MY town and remain inconspicuous! All us 50+ folks dress like you here!!
