Diane Kruger waves to her fans while switching on the Christmas lights along the Champs-Elysees on Wednesday (November 21) in Paris, France.
The 36-year-old actress wore her hair in braids while joining Paris Mayor Bertrand Delanoe at the ceremony.

The evening before, Diane attended the Jaeger-LeCoultre Place Vendome Boutique opening to cut the store’s ribbon. She was spotted arriving in Paris earlier that day wearing a striped sweater at the airport.
FYI: Diane is wearing a Lanvin dress and belt with Brian Atwood boots.

Why all these insults to Diane Kruger? The lights are horrible, they used to be nice, but this new system is bad.

MARION COTILLARD has more talent and beauty than Diane. I can’t imagine her appearing at any and all red carpet events. Marion is so much classier than this attention seeking woman who has no talent.

@Steph: I agree I think this woman has no class, elegance isn’t just choice of clothing and accessories. More, elegance goes beyond outward appearance, elegance has to do to the way he or she behaves, she behaves a way overexposed and it that is not classy
The funny thing is that I didn’t really dislike this woman, but now I can’t stand her. It feels like she is being shoved down my throat with a rusty pitchfork. I haven’t really seen any of her movies, but every time I log onto a gossip site, I’m subjected to her ordinary face. If I’m going to be subjected to seeing her face, at least let it be for a worthy cause. I can’t see her as a humanitarian considering that it seems she is only worried about promoting her ailing career as opposed to human welfare. SELFISH.
What has happened to Diane? She used to have such promise, now we see her doing such silly things. In America she will never be anything more than a ‘B’ list actor, even in Europe there are so many more talented women than her.

Except Marion just did something exactly like this earlier this week in the very same city. She hosted another lighting ceremony for a department store. It seems like the haters here believe Diane just shows up on random red carpets, but she was asked by the organizers of this event to act as the hostess. Also, her ribbon cutting role at Jaeger is part of her job since she’s the brand ambassador for the company. I don’t see how her presence at either of these events would be considered attention seeking.
