OlderSarah Jessica Parker Shrugs Off Fashion Icon Status
Sarah Jessica Parker is all smiles as she spends the day with her twins, Marion and Tabitha, son James and a helper on Wednesday (November 21) in New York City.
The 47-year-old actress recently opened up to People about how she doesn’t consider herself a fashion icon.
“It’s not an identity that I connect to,” she told the mag. “I’m grateful if anyone says anything kind, and if they say something less kind, I take that as a part of anyone talking about you at all. It’s not how I think of myself and I think it’s probably the healthier approach.”

“I love beautiful things,” SJP added. “And I’m privileged to borrow a beautiful dress. I feel really lucky and I genuinely enjoy it. I feel like [fashion] has a proper place in my life.”

These constant horse/ugly comments? Come on, she may not be a classic Hollywood beauty but she’s certainly beautiful in her own right.
@A: I think she looks better with curly hair! Curly hair used to be so popular, now not so much. I don’t get it. Another one is Keri Russell. At least there are a few people like Thandie Newton and Debra Messing who embrace them.

I would say she has made her own fashion statements in the industry. She has had only a faux pas on the red carpet. Also, Sarah Jessica is not a great beauty but I think she looks better, has a better body and style (also better actress) than the mediocre Jennifer Aniston who has been shoved down our throats as something special when she is not. Aniston is average at best because everywhere you go you can see a look a like of Aniston. However, you don’t see a look a like of Sarah in the mall, grocery store and etc.
