Tom Cruise: Military Attire for 'All You Need Is Kill'!

Tom Cruise dons a full military costume on the set of his latest film All You Need Is Kill on Sunday (November 25) at Trafalgar Square in London, England.

The 50-year-old actor, who plays the role of Lt. Col. Bill Cage, a soldier fighting a war against aliens before getting trapped in a time loop, landed in a helicopter in the hugely popular tourist area of London for one of the big scenes filmed that day.

    I can’t wait it see this movie !!!!!

  • roxy

    His personal life is a mess, however I like most of his movies. It would be nice to see him in something other than these action flic that he’s obviously getting too old to play.

  • planet uranus69

    “All you need is kill”??!!?? that is the worst title ever

  • DB

    @roxy: Actually, it seems like his personal life is a lot better with Katie out of his life and all of that divorce stuff settled down.

    He’s back doing what he does best – acting and making movies – and he does make some pretty good ones every now and then.

    Odd title, but that’s not his doing, that’s the studio’s, right?

    Hoping the movie turns out ok.

  • Looking Fine

    TC is looking FINE!!!
    Always looks good in a military uniform. :-)

    Seeing this in 2014!

    IT´S FINE, THAT YOU´RE PLAYING INTERESTING CHARACTERS !

    TOM, YOU WILL FIND HER, COZ´ YOUR HEART HAS THE ENERGY OF A CRUISE-MISSILE !

  • roxy

    I would like to see him in a good emotional drama like Born on the Fourth of July. I love A Few Good Men, whenever it’s on I watch it and I liked Valkry (sp). He does make good movies.

  • missy

    He’s a good actor but he limits himself by only doing these generic action movies. I’d also like to see him do another drama like Born on the Fourth of July, but unfortunately he doesn’t seem interested in that type of film anymore.

  • http://www.eternalozzie.com ozzie

    tom cruise is a terrible actor … he has to produce his own movies to star in … he needs to go away.

  • Marie

    Of course.
    Again a military man.

  • Weirdo

    Why doesn’t he just produce? He doesn’t have to star in everything. There are other actors…..

  • Sasha Mitchell

    @roxy: hows hes too old? what about Brad pitt in wwz? go call him old! oh yeah was that u who climbed the tallest building in the world?

  • Jackthegaintkiller

    @Weirdo: He starred in 3 films in 5 years buddy, what about Matt Damon or Mark Wahlberg, Clooney. Pitt had 2 films last year and another one next week, plus 3 next year, while Cruise only has 1.

  • Julia Roberts

    He looks so sexy, like Burt Lancaster in From here to eternity

  • pr person

    Blech!!! All I see when I look at him is a crazy loon. Won’t be seeing this movie.

  • Sincerely concerned

    TRYING to be open minded; why doesn’t he act in a Martin Scorcesse movie???? SERIOUSLY. …or in something like Les Miserables with Amanda Seyfried, Russel Crowe, Hugh Jackman, Anne Hatheway? Is it possibly because he doesn’t have it?!?!?!?

  • Cate

    He looks great and he tends to pick good movies. i don’t know who the actress is in the pictures is with him but she’s very pretty!

  • Sincerely concerned

    @Sincerely concerned: U know! It’s his way or the highway. AGAIN, he’s a d***.

  • Weirdo

    @Jack – I was referring to ozzie’z comment that he has to produce the movies he stars in. What I meant was, he doesn’t have to insert himself into his productions, he can employ other actors.
    I get it, he doesn’t have as many movies coming out. I would rather see the other male stars you mentioned anyway. I’m not that much of a Pitt fan either, but I’d choose Pitt over Cruise. Just my opinion.

  • Sincerely concerned

    @DB: And he can’t screw with his daughter’s head with that wacko Scientology crap. Go Katie!!!

  • Sincerely concerned

    @roxy: how about the sequel to Hunger Games??? Just to show his range..

  • Sincerely concerned

    Or star in a movie about Warren Jeff’s. I mean it is another wacky religion… With a wacky egotistical nut job…

  • someguy

    This movie looks like it will suck.

  • marilyn

    planet uranus69 @ 11/25/2012 at 10:10 am

    if you had done your research you would have found out that the film is based on the book “All You Need is Kill” by Hiroshi Sakurazaka.

  • marilyn

    @Sincerely concerned @ 11/25/2012 at 6:06 pm

    why should he star in another remake. for that matter, where is it written that Tom is required to work with Martin Scorsese? sorry to break this to you but doing a film with Scorsese is not an automatic marker indicating one has arrived on the scene.

  • marilyn

    @Sincerely concerned @ 11/25/2012 at 6:06 pm

    the sequel to The Hunger Games? seriously!! Try to understand, Tom is one of the richest actors in the business. the man can literally choose any project he wants so why should he do a remake of anything.

  • Sincerely concerned

    @DB: You probably would of said scianoro to him too.

  • Sincerely concerned

    @marilyn: JUST illustrating his lack of versatility. You know!!! Like Jack Nicholson. In my opinion, he can’t see past his own ______. You fill in the blank. Kind of like stuck on stupid. His loss…

  • Sincerely concerned

    @marilyn: I guess I should of prefaced my statement with, “the following remark is sarcasm”. But seriously (hence the name seriously concerned),spice it up a little Tom, u might find there is some brain growth still going on if Scientology hasn’t zapped it all. Maybe if people start calling him Warren ( for Warren Jeffs) he might get the message. Some people really need cold cocked to get it. By the way; your response just illustrated my point! He’s TOM CRUISE. So f********** what. Have you a clue how many people r turned off by ego trips?!?!?

  • marilyn

    Sincerely concerned @ 11/26/2012 at 8:49 am

    Have YOU got a clue how many people actually enjoy his films and DON’T really care about his ego trips??? Let’s see, how about enough people for Tom to have gained another 250 million to add to his already huge person fortune since 2010.

    yes, he is Tom Cruise and he has, believe or not, a LOT of powerful friends sitting in those studios. So, he can get just about any film made he wants. Now, once again, give Tom one valid reason why he should in the middle of his very profitable and successful career need to work with Martin Scorsese? Give Tom one valid reason why he should in the middle of his very profitable and successful career agree to do another remake on anything?

  • Krix

    ALL YOU NEED IS KILL is being directed by Doug Liman (“The Bourne Identity,” “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”) from a screenplay written by Dante Harper, Christopher McQuarrie (Usual Suspects, Valkyrie) and Joby Harold (Awake), based on the acclaimed novel “All You Need Is Kill” by Hiroshi Sakurazaka.

    High probability I’ll catch this in the theatre.

    Love action films – If the have great visuals and steady action, I’m in, but if the film also has a good story/plot then that’s icing.

    Cruise usually delivers in his films and I expect he will keep that promise with this one.

  • Sincerely concerned

    @marilyn: Because they’re becoming redundant.

  • Sincerely concerned

    Same reason I don’t see anymore Adam Sandler movies… That is so sad Marylyn! …that u ask why he should change anything because he is making so much $$$!!! And u wonder why this country is so screwed up…

  • Sincerely concerned

    At least this girl has ankles…

  • Sincerely concerned

    @marilyn: How about Dancing With The Stars???

  • marilyn

    to Sincerely concerned

    There is no doubt about it. You are most definitely an idiot.

  • pr person

    Hmmm… I believe that recently, a movie that wasn’t a huge stinkbomb for bat@&% crazy Cruise, especially here in theStates … was a remake… the last Mission Impossible.

  • Hamlet

    He performs in other genres all the time, #8.

    What a silly comment, #11? Why does any actor act? He likes doing that and people like seeing him act.

    Cruise already worked with Martin Scorsese and starred in a musical, #16.

  • Melanie

    DB is a psychopath….chop Cruise couldn’t be bothered with his children buuutttt noooo DB is all thumbs up. You are nuts.

  • Sincerely concerned

    @Cate: and she has ankles!!

  • Sincerely concerned

    @marilyn: hence, sincerely concerned; I can just hear one of his “friends”. Tom you’re FINE, so what if over half of America thinks u’re a wack job. U’re bringing in the moulaugh, so u’re FINE! (Freaked out. Insecure. Neurotic & Emotional)

  • Sincerely concerned

    @marilyn: Pole problem?

  • Sincerely concerned

    @marilyn: I believe Mission Impossible IS a remake. Just like Downy Jr. With Sherlock Holmes. Seriously, him doing Warren Jeff’s would show people that he can be humbling. Would love to see him do a comedy with Will Ferrel. BUT what you’re saying is that he is so FAMOUS and surrounds himself with a bunch yes sirs that he can’t go do something out of character… Very sad!

  • Sincerely concerned

    @marilyn: WOW!! That puts him right up there with the Kardashians…

  • Sincerely concerned

    @marilyn: At 2:33 pm, 11/26. How about a version of Snow White and the Huntsmen where he is the king (like a male version of CharlizeTheron). He’s already got the cast so he won’t “stray” from his powerful group. His sister, mother, Connor… Throw Will Ferril and Jim Parsons in there and you have a good comedy. Throw Anthony Hopkins in there eating faces u have a good suspense, throw Angilina and Brad Pitt in there; not only do u have a good drama but 3 southpaws. Somewhere in there, throw in Rene Zelwiger, L.L. And Melanie Griffith, Nicole Kdman (Puffy Lips) and you can have a real Sci-fi. OR since he’s so all that he can do a spin off of Bowfinger where he goes up to Them!!!!

  • Del

    Can’t wait, the book was cool and I bet the movie will be awesome! You go Tom! And for those that are mentioning his age…Yeah he’s getting on in years (as we all are) but he’s still bringing the action unlike all these youngsters with their skinny jeans and ‘glittery’ vampires! haha glittery vampires….wtf is that all about?!?
