Helen Mirren: European Film Awards Winner!

Helen Mirren takes the stage to give her acceptance speech at the 2012 European Film Awards held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre on Saturday (December 1) in Valletta, Malta.

The 66-year-old English actress was presented the award for European Achievement in World Cinema by Michael Gambon.

“Thank you for the great honor of recognizing that I too am a f— whore,” Helen started her speech with. “And I am very very proud of it.”

Helen referenced Jeanne Moreau, who at the same awards back in 2007 stated, “We are the f— wonderful whores of European cinema.”

Ummm surely she said “famewh0re” so why have you edited out the “fame” part. It’s not exactly a rude word but if you are going to be prudes wouldn’t it make more sense to edit out “*****”.

Anyway Helen Mirren is a glorious actress! She deserves any and all awards!
