Gerard Butler Talks Current Girlfriend on 'Tonight Show'!

Gerard Butler and Olivia Munn take on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Monday night (December 3) in Burbank, Calif.

On the show, the 43-year-old Scottish actor spoke about his new girlfriend, and got very coy when asked about her! The gal in question is rumored to be actress/model Madalina Ghenea, though nothing is confirmed.

“It’s been seven months now…it’s not a record,” Gerard joked.

Olivia, who rocked an Ani Lee dress, Christian Louboutin shoes, and Loren Stewart rings, chatted about the difference between photo shoots for a male and a female. Click inside to check out Olivia‘s imitations!

If you’ll remember, last year Olivia enjoyed Virgin America’s fleet-wide WiFi and moonlighting during the airline’s inaugural flight from San Francisco to Palm Springs. This December 22, Virgin America will be launching the only direct service from New York to Palm Springs!

    @Strands of Garland:
    I like this site because truthfully it’s mind numbing. I don’t really need to think and it’s fun talking about someone else’s life. It’s kind of like watching a numerous soap opera .

  • DocP

    That would be a humorous sap opera, iPad changes words if I misspell even by one letter :((((

  • Strands of Garland
  • Masha

    I wont go to much into details… Just gonna share my observations…
    His gf talks a lot how she works to much, she takes acting classes…And I don’t know about the JudeL. movie but in previous two she just does striptease and there are a few shots of her face and that’s it…She even got some prize on Rome festival, for what? Someone really wants to make a star out of her…That’s one part of her hard work, the other- photo shoots…Yeah it really makes me wanna cry how sad I am for her when I see her photos, poor thing, that’s really hard work…I guess that’s what Olivia Munn was trying to say, that looks stupid what a ridiculous life the models are living, what’s their purpose other that promote someone, them selves and make other people feel like they are never good enough, when even they don’t really look like that… And hearing GB talking about his gf on Jleno, makes me sad for his other gf’s …I’m mean the ex’s…Non of these women were good enough for him to mention them, until he met the sexy little thing Miss Plastic… I don’t know how anyone on this planet can think anything good about him after this…

  • Strands of Garland

    So great—-Gerry giving a car to the hurricane victims. Who said he doesn’t do nice things?

  • Strands of Garland

    @blahblahblah:

    I don’t know who you think I am, but I do not post day and night. Why would that matter to you anyway? You don’t have to read my posts and no one is stopping you from posting what you want.

  • Masha

    Amazing how he does the most charity when he needs to promote a movie…”What a nice person, makes my heart melt”…

  • Strands of Garland
  • Now we’ll see

    @Gigi:

    Did you also notice that Olivia kept pulling her skirt down and over her leg? Why do they wear dresses that short? It’s ridiculous!

  • Strands of Garland

    Maybe stopping by the UK on his way to Norway for Nobel on 12/11?

  • Odd appearance

    Well, I watched Ellen, but it seemed he spoke more about his love of awards and his trip with Freddie than his movie. And wasn’t it Ellen that gave the car to the family, and he just drove it on set? Or am I mistaken?

  • Devil’s Advocate

    @Strands of Garland:
    Was that from him or Ellen Degeneres?

  • Gaby

    @Masha:

    Thats what i was thinking he went out with this half caste girl once and she did the world for him & he dumped her without telling & took off, he’s been in longer relationships than 7 months and wouldnt even acknowledge them thats why i find it sad that he has come public with a girl who less deserves it. Really put me off him bigtime & what happened to all his comments about dating a civillian and dont know how 2 people in the field do it just proves hes full of crap

  • just a thought

    Is there anyone else you hate? Or is it just GB and anyone he associates with.

  • Strands of Garland

    @Devil’s Advocate:
    It was like the car he drove in PFK. What I could gather from the video was that both he and Ellen gave them the car because she said WE wanted you to have the car?

  • cupcake

    Hi ladies. He was fun on ellen.

  • Europe

    Good appearance on Ellen IMO! Hmm, sounds like maybe GB will be staying in the UK and Europe for the remainder of December and most of 2013 with PFK premiere in Rome, and his GF living there, and then filming Dynamo. Wow, going back to his roots perhaps?

  • Strands of Garland

    @Gaby:

    Honestly I don’t think he has a clue how to handle a real relationship with anyone.

  • Nanu

    Well! He finally mentioned his gf name in the Ellen’s show … “Freddy”.

  • Eurotrash

    @Europe: Whoa there Gerry said in another interview that Dynamo doesn’t even have a script yet.

  • Actually…

    @Nanu: That made me LOL!!!!

  • Europe

    #220: Thanks for the info. I must not have had time to watch that particular interview. Good to know.

  • Cookie Dough

    I do wonder all his previous relationships including close friend jeanna must feel like crap that he had the need to hide them

  • cupcake

    He should be in nyc tonight. The premiere is tomorrow.

  • Nanu

    @Europe:

    Oh yeah! It’s time to go to some place where people are still willing to mentioning his name in the press. Poor Freddy, is going to miss him! I am sure they will be back together for a road trip after Dynamo … ;-)

  • Wrong

    @Strands of Garland: He drove a red Ferrari in the movie. The Ellen Show bought the car for the family. That’s who she meant by “we”. He just drove it onto the set. Nice attempt to give him credit for something he didn’t do, though. You really think this guy walks on water, don’t you?

  • jealous phannies

    @Actually…:
    it can’t be 49. its actually 35 but i adjusted it up to 40. that’s when people start losing interest because its not related to them.

  • jealous phannies

    @Devil’s Advocate:

    please….the talk shows he goes on don’t talk about anything substantive. its all fluff and jokes. its entertainment. he could try to read the news and stay informed but that won’t do him any good on these talk shows that are just meant for entertainment.
    -
    i also think your off about the jay leno show from last night.
    -
    if its getting boring its because you are aging out of the target market. the new up and comers are where the advertisers are focusing their attention. you even use the tools of the new generation…the internet, blogs, twitter, iphones…its a new world. movie theatres may possibly go out of style in favor of premieres on the net at home once enough homes have the new technology.
    -
    hollywood needs to remember that they also have to entertain an older generation and not just stick to teen movies and other coming of age movies. there is a whole range of maturity they are neglecting.

  • jealous phannies

    but their stuck because its harder to fool people once they reach the age of critical reasoning.

  • Nanu

    Well, it seems that finally after his appearance in the Leno’s show the international press is starting to talk about his relationship. In many different languages, the articles agree in the same thing … that he admitted being in a relationship but didn’t mention her name (even though the rumor is MG).

  • Strands of Garland
  • Nanu
  • jealous phannies

    “(even though the rumor is MG).”
    that should say even though the murmurers murmer its mg.
    lol

  • Let me guess

    @Nanu: They did that before for a day or two when those St. Tropez pics came out. I won’t even look…let’s see…contact music, starpulse, and that bunch? Probably a few Romanian and Italian rags, and some other entertainment websites no one’s ever heard of. In the US, however? Crickets and more crickets. He had more interest and press coverage when he was at Coachella. No one cares here because they all know it’s temporary.

  • justsayin’too

    anyone got a link to the Leno show?

  • Nanu
  • Actually…

    @jealous phannies: My computer is effing up big time and won’t link properly. Google two articles;
    1) Charge Shot!!! TV Ratings and Target Demographics
    and
    2)What Demographics Tell us about the Economy by Tammy Erickson.
    -
    Tammy’s article actually says the biggest spenders are people in their 40′s to early 50′s.
    -
    What makes you think a 16 year old is such a big spender? They are highschool students! Educated working adults have the money. But one thing you ARE correct about is music buying. That demo is somewhat younger….

  • jealous phannies

    i had a college class on the media. it was a test question. that’s how i know.

  • jealous phannies

    the people in the age category i highlighted really only have to spend on themselves. they don’t have to think about other people except their friends.
    parents pay for their kids for kids movies. so there is actually money to be made there.
    maybe you work in advertising. i am talking media and movies.
    technically speaking if you’re not married you have more disposable income.

  • justsayin’too

    @Actually-I Agree with you!! If HW would focus on great character driven stories that actually cost less to make but appealed to people over 35 they would see a surge in movie ticket sales. I don’t go to movies because most don’t appeal to me, but when something like LINCOLN or Crazy, Stupid, Love or Hope Springs or It’s Complicated are offered, I will buy a ticket. These movies had great actors and were great for people with some life experience.

  • Strands of Garland

    @Actually…:

    I have no doubt what you’re saying but don’t the 40-50 yr olds give their teenage kids money to do to the movies?

  • jealous phannies

    people in their 40′s and 50′s are big spenders…they spend on things like tv, furniture, houses, cars. not quite the same as a $10 movie.
    people who are in school get preferential rates for movies….that’s high school and college. seniors also get preferential rates.
    all of that plus the fact that hw movies do not cater to the 40-50+ crowd. its a maturity thing.

  • Actually…

    @jealous phannies: I work IN the media. Anyhow…..nothing to argue about. I think we’re agreeing on a few things. Music, movies, tv….I think all have slightly different degrees of what demo they are trying to reach. TV is the widest because they advertise everything from toys to cars to depends/denture cream. As far as music goes, a 40 year old ain’t buying Bieber music (shhh…don’t tell anyone, but I bought “Boyfriend” and I’m 39!); and a 13 year old doesn’t want Motley Crue Greatest Hits. And whether he likes it or not, Gerry’s movie goers for rom coms are middle aged and slightly younger women. Naturally, he’ll bring in more men with the action flicks…-

    Goodnight………… :)

    people in their 40′s and 50′s are big spenders…they spend on things like tv, furniture, houses, cars. not quite the same as a $10 movie.

    -
    plus, they also spend money on food clothes not just for themselves but also for their s.o. and kids and whatever special expenses go with those two categories.
    -
    in california you can start work at the age of 16 but it can only be a part time job. you can’t work full time as a 16 yo, its against the law.

  • tick,tick,tick

    Get plenty of holiday sha.gs in, girlie, cuz after the movie opens, it’s countdown time.

  • jealous phannies

    @Actually…:

    i agree we do agree on most of those items. the advantage of going to the movies is that there are no interruptions for commercials. lol
    you would think commercials on tv are geared around the show but actually, the shows are geared around what advertisers want to sell. that’s what i learned in my class and we had to watch that as an assignment.
    -
    nice talking to you
    have a good night :)

  • jealous phannies

    @Actually….
    ps your secret is safe with me
    ;)

  • DocP

    @jealous phannies:
    You don’t have commercials with DVD’s unless your just talking about regular TV. I prefer to watch movied in the comfort of my own home, no crying children or obnoxius twit kicking my chair. God Bless the man or woman who created the BluRay!!

  • @GFW

    @GerrysSoftPlaceToLand: Learn to deal with the fact he has a girlfriend. If you really cared about him, you’d want him to be happy and he is. It’s obvious.

  • Here’s something obvious

    It’s obvious you are obsessed with harassing GFW, and never miss an opportunity to do so, even when she’s hardly posting. You are sick.
