David Beckham: MLS Soccer Will Continue to Grow!

David Beckham dons a beanie while attending an event to celebrate his soccer team Los Angeles Galaxy winning the MLS Cup at the Home Depot Center on Monday (December 3) in Carson, Calif.

Over the weekend, the 37-year-old soccer star watched the Los Angeles Lakers lose to the Orlando Magic at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

David recently told the press about making soccer more popular in the states.

“When I decided to come here, I think I raised a little bit of interest, and I hope that’s what I’ve done,” David said. “If that’s the single thing that I’ve done, then great. But I think the foundations are there now in this league. It’s a 17-year-old league and the foundations are great. It will continue to grow.”
