Katie is so cute when she smiles

# 2

Most boring celeb ever. What fans did she greet..there’s one weird guy.

# 3

LOL, what a hyperbole. I cannot believe fans is plural. Perhaps a fan.

# 4

I’m personally sick and tired of JustJared and every other media outlet who are pushing Katie to look like the best thing ever, Ms. Sunshine, Ms. Wholesome, Ms. Small Town Values blah, blah, blah. Sorry, I’m not buying it. Her PR people have been hard at work for months. It’s nauseating. By the way, the critics are not raving about dead accounts!!!

# 5

huh? couldn’t her people pay more fake people to stand there to pretend to be “fans.”

# 6

Out of the 30 or so Broadway plays running currently, Dead Accounts is in the bottom five with only 61.5 percent of the seats sold last week–a .5 percent loss from the week before. Even Katie’s notoriety can’t save this badly written and at least by Katie–poorly acted play.

She looks great from the waist up. Her hair looks awesome! Not too crazy about the pants/shoes though. I’m no fangirl of hers, but I do like seeing her at a better place compared to her days with Tom Cruise.

Katie Holmes Grabs Lunch at Carnegie Deli Updated December 5, 2012 4:33pm

MIDTOWN — Katie Holmes strode into the famed Carnegie Deli in high heels Wednesday afternoon to order a New York City classic: a turkey Reuben on rye.

The former “Dawson’s Creek” star, who separated from husband Tom Cruise in June, came with a man who appeared to work with her and a security guard, and paid for the $24.95 sandwich by credit card.

“She was wearing the highest high heels I’ve ever seen — like 5 to 7 inches,” said Carnegie Deli Manager Jose Robles, 52. “She had on dark pants and a light sweater.”

Robles said the security guard made sure no pictures were taken of the brunette as she waited inside the Seventh Avenue deli for about five minutes.

He said he gave Holmes the deli’s number and told her to call in advance next time to pre-order her sandwich to avoid the wait.

“She said ‘Thank you very much. I appreciate it. I’ll give you a call next time before I come here,’” Robles said.
.
Yeah right, she called the paps first and then went there to the deli to stand around. She probably was not happy that it was ready in only five minutes.

Just trying to get some attention for her failing play. It’s a financial disaster. She’s been iced out of Hollywood and soon NYC too. Maybe she should be a showgirl in Reno next.

They’re fans who were waiting for her. They are passersby who are wondering why the sidewalk is blocked and who is getting out of the black SUV. Notice how she isn’t taking cabs and riding the subway anymore. Not picking up Suri from school either. I guess the amazing single mom has lots and lots of help.

Gypsy of the Year Raises Over $3.9 Million for Broadway Cares
.
Deafening cheers, copious laughter, roaring ovations, and a smattering of tears all filled the New Amsterdam Theatre on Tuesday, December 4 for the concluding performance of the 24th Annual Gypsy of the Year competition, benefiting the charity Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA). The event marked the end of a six-week fundraising campaign by a total of 51 Broadway, off-Broadway, and national touring shows, which raised $3,902,608 for BC/EFA.

I’m not a fan of Katie Holmes, but there’s a part of me that feels somewhat sorry for her. She worshipped T. Cruise as a teen, met and married him and had a disastrous marriage. She loved Broadway even before she was in Dawson’s Creek, and has not done well in either play in which she performed. She loves singing and dancing, and doesn’t excel in either. She loves fashion, and the Holmes&Yang line isn’t selling; her street fashion sense shows a need for a personal stylist. What is she left with? A child who’s a paparazzi magnet. Just because someone “loves” something, doesn’t mean that they can be a success in it. And, someone needs to finally be honest with her and tell her she’s not suited for Broadway, singing, dancing and designing. Maybe she needs to take some time off, go back to the Midwest, and re-assess her priorities.

She looks nice, and the seating was 84%.
Never amazes me the way, you people go around looking on info about somone you are not interested in.
Then again maybe you do that all over JJ.

@annie:

No Annie, the seating wasn’t 84 %. Based on the draw she was for AMS, she was suppose to the same draw for this. Unfortunately for Katie it is not working.

@annie:

And oh by the way Annie, I check the stats for Broadway shows and movies weekly — has nothing to do with zeroing in on Katie except for extrapolating the information for this thread.

Yup, I am sick and tired of this hot mess. And for the people who want to blame Tom Cruise for Kate’s debacle performance and non-existing fan base, please know that Katie was never a heart-throbbing Hollywood entity. Sorry.

I’m sorry, but all those times she has gone out with dirty hair, chipped nail polish, stained or wrinkled clothes and looking unwashed–I see her and I see someone who looks as though they haven’t bathed and probably smells. While I realize she probably has bathed and doesn’t smell, she just comes across as having poor personal hygiene due to her lax approach to clean hair, grooming and pressed and washed clothes.

Katie and her PR team should better be working double time now and take advantage of Suri while she is still a paparazzi magnet. Because as soon as Prince William and Dutchess Kate’s child will be born, that child is going take away Suri’s throne as the most photographed child in the world.

It’ nice to see her smiling, not sure about the pants but she seems in good spirits. Her body language seems a bit shy though, which is surprising considering how long she’s been in the spotlight.

Toria
Why should I lie, maybe I read wrong, but it said from 8,000 seats 6789 have been sold — 2/12/2012, which according to Broadway grosses and stats is 84%, the week before, it was what you said.
I’m not defending her, or the show. I don’t know much about plays, or how they work. I’m more of a movie person myself.
Maybe now that it’s officially opened as opposed to previews, it will pick up.
Jesus Toria what on earth has she done to you, that you desperately want her to fail so badly.

@Nathan: Chubby cheeks and crooked teeth, yikes!

she looks like an empty headed upside down lamp shade

Ewww! What’s that smell?… My reviews?!
D@mn, I’ve got to do this “dog and pony show” how many more weeks!….Ugh! I’ll need some more concealer —NOW!!!

Her career is booming, #13. Nothing to feel sorry about.

And so what, #18? How is any of that relevant?
