Gwen Stefani Covers 'Marie Claire UK' January 2013
Gwen Stefani looks fierce on the cover of Marie Claire UK‘s January 2013 issue.
Here’s what the 43-year-old No Doubt songstress had to share with the mag:
On her biggest accomplishment: “My biggest accomplishment is my marriage.”
On her clothing brand L.A.M.B.: “I’ve learned to delegate. It still looks awesome, but did I pick the buttons? No, I didn’t. I missed two fashion weeks because they were when school started. I can’t miss the first week of kindergarten.”
On being a mom and entertainer: “I was swimming upstream, trying to balance everything that’s been going on with having kids and a family. There’s no way to do all these things. I would be up all night because my second baby didn’t sleep, and he had a lot of ear infections. Then I’d wake up in the morning and do my workout, which I always felt I had to do, and then meetings for my three clothing lines, and then hang out with my kids, take them to preschool – da, da, da.”
Also pictured inside: Gwen dropping her son Zuma off at school on Thursday (December 6) in Studio City, Calif, and Gwen, hubby Gavin Rossdale, and sons Kingston and Zuma heading to a birthday party on Saturday (December 8) in Los Angeles.

did she not have time for a new photoshoot? elle?
Everytime she says her marrige is her biggest accomplishment i can’t help but get the feeling her marrige feels more like a job. Hope everything is ok! They were seen leaving therapy. Wonder if that’s a sign of trouble?
@Little Miss Wicked:
grow up nasty face
Gavin Rossdale was gay before her
Is she kidding?? She doesn’t go anywhere without a nanny to take care of the kids. Did she miss fashion week so she could make sure the nanny takes the kids to school and makes them lunch properly??
welcome to the real life honey, oh no wait… you still have millions $ and all the help you need, my bad
Love my job, since I’ve been bringing in $5600… I sit at home, music playing while I work in front of my new iMac that I got now that I’m making it online(Click on menu Home)

Thanks Lexy. Nice to see someone is awake and thinking clearly. Even when her husband is with her (lazy sod!) she needs the nanny there everywhere they go.
I could see that being necessary if someone had 4-6 kids or kids with severe behaviourial problems, but this woman just seems incapable (not to mention not interested in) of being alone with her kids!!!
@Beard – who cares if he’s gay, this guy is LAZY!!! Lets the nanny do all the heavy lifting when he’s out with his kids — like hauling a stroller up the stairs for example.
“Learned to delegate”??!!?!?!?!?!?!
What planet is she from and how stupid and naive does she think people are?
This woman has relied on an army of nannies, assistants, and other minions to do all the real work associated with having young children and is never seen doing things with her children WITHOUT at least one nanny present.
Sorry, Gwen, try again.
Her marriage is her biggest accomplishment? Lol, she must be toiling endlessly to avoid a divorce. I’m sorry it’s somewhat of an odd response when you have children. I’d expect the “my being a mom is my greatest accomplishment” or “my children are my greatest accomplishment.”
Marriage can be trying but to say that’s your greatest accomplishment is peculiar. What if he asks for a divorce tomorrow? Is your so-called greatest accomplishment flushed down the toilet then?
I’m sorry, it’s hard to listen to this bemoaning.
Not the most flattering interview.
love the cover!
