Wait a second, I didn`t understand that part with Anns teeth… Did she had to get rid of her teeth for real?

    Laura Says:

@lauren: Of course, this is the result of a strict diet + the stage makeup. Valjean is a prisoner abused and tortured, so Jackman cannot look like a super fascinating Baywatch…

    Laura Says:

@Sfingaaa: Nope, are false teeth. The make-up artists have applied artificial dentures on the real teeth of Anne.

I am well aware of the character he is playing in the film. MY point was his lower stomach looks weird and gross to me. You don’t have to agree, but it looks strange. He is not thin in that picture. He doesn’t look like a tortured prisoner.
Gosh some of you take things so seriously. Hugh doesn’t know you and I doubt he would cry because of my comment.

This movie is filled with normally okay looking people looking avsolutely gross. I’m avoiding this at all costs – even when it screens on free to air!

    to Beard,

You can avoid this film if you want. But I will be first in line.

    Mike Says:

@Beard: …and like Lucy the rest of the world will be first in line. Your annoying snobbishness is out of place because you’re in a clear minority. All Les Miserables reviews were enthusiastic and I’m not talking about opinion of amateurs but authoritative industry critics, this time audience agree with critics, rarely happens. In the heyday of Hollywood, great movies like these were the norm, too bad that a large part of audience does not deserve nor understand something like this masterpiece ‘old school style’. For this reason, many producers prefer invest in movies for teenagers lobotomized by video games but people who preserved the taste of good movies are very grateful for Les Miserables.
