Jennifer Lawrence & Joaquin Phoenix: LAFCA Award Winners!

The Los Angeles Film Critics has announced its award winners for the 2012 film season!

Amour, which focuses on an elderly couple whose love is tested after one is paralyzed from a stroke, picked up Best Picture, while Paul Thomas Anderson was named Best Director for The Master.

Jennifer Lawrence tied with Emmanuelle Riva for Best Actress for her work in Silver Linings Playbook while Joaquin Phoenix was awarded Best Actor for The Master. His co-star Amy Adams won the prize for Best Supporting Actress and Dwight Henry was the recipient of Best Supporting Actor for his role in Beasts of the Southern Wild.

The winners for the Boston Film Critics Awards were also announced today. Check out the winners inside!
