Taylor Swift: 'WebMD' Cover Girl!

Taylor Swift: 'WebMD' Cover Girl!

Taylor Swift shows off her bangs on the cover of the November/December 2012 issue of WebMD magazine, on newsstands now!

Here’s what the 23-year-old singer had to share:

On being happy: “The fact is, my life is amazing, so when I’m getting too much in my own head, I try to say all the things I’m grateful for. It can be simple things—like if I’m complaining about how my cellphone is working slowly, I think about how slowly they worked five years ago. It’s OK to have glass-half-empty days, but not too many of them. I place a higher priority on being happy than I do on freaking out.”

On her new album: “I’m really proud of the record, but I’m always nervous about everything. There’s a great deal of terror that fills my mind before I do anything, really. We’re talking before an album comes out, before a photo shoot, anytime I read my name in print. There’s a huge amount of pressure and responsibility because millions of people are going to potentially spend their hard-earned money on the album, and there’s a great responsibility for the critics who will write about it, and responsibility for the girl who is going through a breakup and needs a song about what she’s feeling, and responsibility for the girl who doesn’t feel good about herself and needs a song for that, too, and I worry about saying or doing the wrong thing.”

On relationships: “Everyone starts a relationship well intentioned. No one thinks, ‘This will have a horrific, crazy downfall, and it will be chronicled on an album that teenagers will be singing to themselves in their bedrooms.’”

WebMD magazine? Random. Her publicists are insane.

    Card Says:

Someone at another website said, “I hope she dies in a plane crash.”
Then I felt better. I’m not the only one who has wished that. She’s an overexposed talentless twit who can never seem to close her mouth or keep her eyes open. By the way, I stopped buying Cover Girl because of Taylor Swift.

There’s a WebMD magazine? WTF is she doing on it, did she find a cure for some awful disease?

    Alex Says:

@Card: i don’t like her either, i think she’s irrelevant and immature but wishing her death is insane, senseless and sick. you can say she’s talentless, can’t sing, acting like a crazy teenager with issues but wishing her death is far too much. grow up, kiddo.

Enough of this immature crybaby oh-I’m-such-a-good-girl-but-I-can’t-help-it-if-I-get-’em-boys-in-my-bed-all-the-time-then-dump-’em-to-write-some-whiny-lame-ass-songs-about-them. UGH!

    LooseLipz Says:

Overexposed. In 10 years nobody will know her name or care about her music.

    ventouse Says:

Shut up Taylor!! What relationships is she on about? The different dates she had? Those are dates, not relationships. I am sick of these musicians talking about their lives… learn some humility. Try to keep your personal-life private- we do NOT care.

    Kk Says:

I’m glad she said teenagers will be singing to themselves. At least she knows it’s only teenagers who see value in her existance.

    Tianna Says:

I’m sorry but I don’t see the reasoning behind her being on the cover of a magazine about the medical world. Seriously, over exposure is sad and pathetic.

    lola_uk Says:

Is she the poster child for the “Bipolar-Slu#y-Granny syndrome” diagnostic feature?

    getoverit Says:

Oh, c’mon. Did all you haters really go to the bother of typing up your hate on the comment section of a news website? Really?

Why not go and say it to Taylor’s face. Then see what you get. Probably a song entitled “Better Than Revenge”.

The funny thing is, she already has a song called that. Maybe you should check it out. Unless you have BETTER things to do.

  19. 19
    lola_uk Says:

@getoverit: how much do you weigh, 20 stone? Is that about right? stop living vicariously through Taylor swift. she’s a calculating slaagg who gets paid millions to purport this “goody-goody” facade. Get out, get active and get fit. and stop living in wonderland

    rya Says:

    Jokergurl Says:

Taylor Swift actually sounds like she’s got some anxiety issues. I think she’s a lot better role model than most of the singers out there today.

    Prezes Says:

I wish to have a glass-half-empty days only because my phone is slow. I mean, really, I want things like that to be my biggest problems.
