the 48 frame rate ruined the experience. Amazing story, acting and all over direction..but unfortunately it felt like I was watching a tv.episode of the teletubbies

    Seriously, everybody loved it ??
I LOVE the Lord of the rings movies, but I thought The Hobbit was terrible !
    So disappointed.

@emma: were you expecting it to be like lord of the rings? movies have changes since then, i think directors are more controlled now (due to the economy) to be a certain way thanks to moronic studio heads – i was surprised they didn’t shove kristen stewart in it — If this is tumblr’s wet dream i might skip it and just re-watch LOTR.

They still have GOLLUM…UGH I can’t stand Gollum, an no VIggo Mortensen so I’m not going to rush out to see this one.

    Uhmmm, really?
Those comments are so unbelievably ignorant, I can’t tell if you are being serious, or if you are a troll.
Since Gollum plays a major role in the story, uhm yeah, he is still in it.
And Viggo? Since Aragorn would be a teenager IF they included him, he certainly would not be played by a fifty something Viggo. No amount of didgital magic could fix that one.
So tell us. Are you a troll? Or just an idiot?

@@11: are you 12.. or are you 12 1/2? who are you to criticize peoples opinions of the movie? you sound like an ignorant fangirl!

  14. 14
    @13 Says:

That wasn’t an “opinion” of the movie. You can’t have an “opinion” about the movie unless you have seen it. DOH!
Her, what you call “opinions” are ridiculous. She doesn’t want a pivotal character included in the movie because she “can’t stand him”, yet wants a completely innapropriate actor to be included where he doesn’t belong because he is hot, and you are calling #12 a “fangirl”?

    tay Says:

@@13: *eye roll*? ahha roll them all the way to the back of your head – and people can have ANY opinion they like, who are you to tell me other wise?
    stay basic b*tch :)

    “tay”? Or is it “ta”?
Your tone, vulgarity and ignorance are your calling cards.
Why even bother to change your name.
