Josh Bowman: Focus On Your Craft!

Josh Bowman: Focus On Your Craft!

Josh Bowman keeps it cool and casual as he goes shopping at The Grove on Monday (December 17) in Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old actor is currently featured in Da Man magazine‘s December 2012/January 2013 issue and gave advice to newcomers trying to stay sane in Hollywood.

“I think the key for that is to keep your focus on work,” Josh told the mag. “I’ve seen a lot of people who come here and talk a lot of shit and not achieve anything because they have their own idea of what Hollywood is like. They think it’s all about parties and beautiful people and fun times with their friends at the beach. If you want to achieve anything here, you have to be 110% dedicated to your goal while also having the discipline to focus on your craft. At the end of the day, if you want something bad enough, you’ll get it no matter what.”

FYI: Josh is wearing the AllSaints “Bedford” shirt.

Hope he takes his own advice. He’s so wooden in his roles.

# 2

Who?? I’ve never heard of him.

# 3

He is such a terrible actor

I agree that you should work hard, but what the hell is up with actors talking about their “craft” or “art”? Some people take their **** too seriously. Trying to sound like the next Leonardo DiCaprio or something. So what’s he trying to say? If someone’s famous or an actor they’re not allowed to party or go to the beach with their friends? Some people have lives outside of work.

The guy who signed up for Soo Undercover with Miley Cyrus wants to tell people to work on their ‘craft’. How laughable and pathetic. Good god how did this guy get ANYTHING? He’s average looking AND wooden. I couldn’t bear Revenge because of him.

Seriously, I’m looking at his face and thinking damn, no wonder you give such ambitious advice, if you can do it, it makes anyone feel like they can!
