Tate Stevens: 'Please Come Home for Christmas' on 'X Factor'
Tate Stevens sings his heart out in his final performance as a contestant on The X Factor during the show’s season finale on Thursday (December 20) at CBS Television City in Los Angeles.
The 37-year-old country singer performed the song “Please Come Home for Christmas” during the holiday segment.
“I want to win. That’s honest. I didn’t come here to lose, I didn’t come here to take second. I came here to win. It’s nuts. I actually have a better chance of winning this than I do getting struck by lightening,” Tate told the Los Angeles Times before the show.

i really hope he doesn’t win
I really do hope he wins. Carly was horrible last night with Le ann Rhimes. They were both off key. Little Carly will have a career whether she wins or looses. she has an amazing voice, but so does he. I voted for him like crazy last night. I want this wonderful man and a singer to have a shot at stardom. His vocals were spot on and consistant through the whole season
Tate’s winning has nothing to do with mentorship of LA Reid, IMO.
hillbilly music is a cancer in this country.
Very happy for Tate. It all worked out as it should. Congratulations, Tate!
