ABC Pulls '666 Park Avenue' From Schedule

After cancelling the new drama just last month, ABC has decided to pull the remaining episodes of 666 Park Avenue from their schedule.

Starting January 6th, re-runs of hit comedies Happy Endings and Don’t Trust The B— in Apt. 23 will run on Sunday nights in 666‘s place, according to EW.

The show, which starred Dave Annable, Rachel Taylor, Terry O’Quinn, and Vanessa Williams, revolved around the residents and owners of a mysterious apartment building in New York City.

Though it was also cancelled last month, Last Resort will continue to air on Thursdays @ 8pm EST.

That show was awful. I hope they eventually find something great to show in that slot.

Then bring Last Resort back, ugh. It was starting to get good too, it just had a very slow start and too many tangents to bring into the main plot line.

Too bad, I was really enjoying 666 Park Place. The Durants were intriguing and I really wanted to know the story behind the red box and the hotel. This is why I hardly ever watch TV…Ah well.

karma for that evil name I say…and their set was trashed during Hurricane Sandy…serves those immoral hollywood types right.

@boo!: Most shows on ABC are awful. Good luck with that. It’s sad that great comedies like Happy Endings and Community are on the verge of cancellation.

I never watch any new shows on ABC. No sense in watching, investing time and always have the shows cancelled.

And I agree about the reality TV, Oceane.

Last Resort was awesome last week! Everyone needs to send a message to ABC as a protest to say that canceled shows does not sell commercial products. I agree that it’s just better to never start watching because cancelation is just too easy for those excecs at ABC!

the show wasnt bad at all!!
it was going pretty well ( except the last 2 episodes which were trying too hard to tell the whole story because it was already canceled and they wanna give us a closer)
everyone knows it canceled because of the “one million moms” they campained against show and say they will make people pull their commercials so ABC gave up and cancelled the show

I was really hoping to see some closure in 666’s finale, but now I guess I’ll just have to talk about what could have happened with some of my DISH coworkers. I thought that the show’s concept was solid, and I’ve been saving every episode to my DISH Hopper to relive the memorable moments. It’s been nice to not have to worry about my DVR running out of memory, since I can store up to 2,000 hours of entertainment. Cheers to The Drake.

@heidi: what is this i hear about the million moms getting Park Ave threw off air by getting adds pulled from the network. I wish they had not went with abc, cbs, nbc, no supernatural show will work on these networks. The next time any supernatural show comes to any of these networks it will fail also. Please try HBO, Showtime, even FX or CW. What potential this great show had it was cancled after the 6th show. It was never even given a chance. Do not know what Mothers cared so much for it was in a 10pm time slot. This is an outrage, and a very big insult to viewers. After all this is not the Christian Network people. But i guess it is the fuddie duddie network.
