Ben Affleck Officially Declines Run for Senate

Ben Affleck has spoken out about the many rumors floating around that he will be running for Senate.

“I love Massachusetts and our political process, but I am not running for office,” the 40-year-old actor wrote on Facebook. “Right now it’s a privilege to spend my time working with Eastern Congo Initiative (ECI), supporting our veterans, drawing attention to the great many who go hungry in the U.S. everyday and using filmmaking to entertain and foster discussion about issues like our relationship to Iran.”

“We are about to get a great Secretary of State and there are some phenomenal candidates in Massachusetts for his Senate seat. I look forward to an amazing campaign,” Ben added about Senator John Kerry‘s vacancy.

WOULD YOU HAVE VOTED for Ben Affleck if he ran for Senate?

Affleck is just another actor wanna be politician with a big wallet and an even bigger ego.

Sadly, his life is firmly entrenched at Brentwood Country Mart.

Argo is a good movie and daily publicity to get it recognition seems a bit much. Who is Ben’s agent? Must be the Huvane brothers with the regular plant and deny story mode.

The fake military documents maker John Kerry is a gory movie-makeup Heinz ketchup confirmation. Catnapping on Christmas Eve, an intense male voice said, “I have John Kerry!” at 8:33 pm.

Jeez. Actors should remain actors. Entertainers will be entertainers. I never understood how Shwarzenegger did dare to run and was elected =O God… you mad folks!

    Frozoid Says:

The Smoking Gun investigated Affleck’s voting history and found that he had only voted once in 10 years. And back in 2000, when he was stumping for Al Gore and blasting people for not voting in elections, Affleck himself never bothered to vote in that election. In fact, he wasn’t even registered.

As the Smoking Gun calls him, he’s a “Hollywood Hypocrite.”

@Andamentothat: It’s not that great a movie. But all of the actors were better than he is.

    Affleck is a terrible actor.

((he also uses the same materials that the people of congo are mining — in dangerous conditions)) but PLEASE tell me more about how this white moron cares..

yes I would vote for him. he is too busy for that job right now with all his other work and three little kids and his acting. Perhaps he can get into politics more in his 50-s when his kids are older.
