Singer Patti Page Dead at 85

Patti Page has passed away at the age of 85.

The legendary singer reportedly died on New Year’s Day in Encinitas, Calif.

Patti had more than 100 chart hits during her singing career, including such pop classics as “(How Much Is That) Doggie In The Window”, “Old Cape Cod,” and “Tennessee Waltz”. She made regular appearances on several music and variety shows, such as The Ed Sullivan Show and The Steve Allen Show. In addition to singing, Patti also put her talents into acting, with a role on the CBS show Playhouse 90, and made her big-screen debut in 1960′s Elmer Gantry.

Our deepest condolences go out to Patti‘s family and friends.
