Kristin Chenoweth Surprises Teen with Maddie's Corner Award

Kristin Chenoweth surprises her fan Dillon Neir with a special party and awards presentation at Jaxson’s Ice Cream Parlour and Restaurant on Friday (January 4) in Dania Beach, Fla.

The Emmy-winning actress flew down to Florida to present Dillon with the first annual Maddie Dog Award on behalf of her organization Maddie’s Corner.

Dillon created a fundraising project to benefit Maddie’s Corner as part of his Bar Mitzvah celebration and he became the inspiration for the award.

“We were so moved by Dillon‘s efforts that we wanted to honor him and decided to establish this as an annual award for young people who exemplify our vision and ideals in an extraordinary way,” Kristin told JustJared.com.

It was recently announced that Kristin‘s upcoming American Songbook concert at Lincoln Center this February will be filmed to air on PBS at a later date. We can’t wait!
