“@MTVNews: Ben Affleck jokes #CriticsChoice “is the one that counts” after his #Oscar snub! #LastLaugh? ” hes brilliant!

  • BA – Fickle Much?

“I would like to thank the Academy,” said Affleck. “I’m kidding, I’m kidding. This is the one that counts.”

    How times have changed…

The 70th Academy Awards in 1998, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for their 1997 drama “Good Will Hunting.”

“I just said to Matt, ‘losing would suck, and winning would be really scary – and it’s really, really scary,’” Affleck joked during the speech.”

The Oscar doesn’t count because he didn’t get a nomination. Ben grow up. You are not the first to get snubbed and won’t be the last.

I’m sure the speech would have been completely different if he had gotten that Oscar nod.

and where is Jennifer. Sad that it was fine for her to be on the RC when he was promoting the film.. although he sure as heck didn’t support either of her two movies released last year. never talked about her acting or anything. It was all about him. You’d think he could have gone to ONE of her movie premiers.

Ben is so smug lately….can’t stand his face

  • Terrible Twos

It’s too bad Ben didn’t get nominated for an Oscar. I hope he doesn’t get discouraged and continues to make movies, he has talent.
