    I can;t help it, but every time is see her now, I think that she was robbed of the Oscar nom for Rust and Bone. Anyway I’m not that crazy about her dress but she still looks great. I love Marion’s hair and make-up.

    she's prejudiced Says:

    she didnt get it because of her anti-american comments. I used to admire her talent and beauty, but when I found out about her quotes about 9/11, she’s ugly inside to me now. So good, no nom for her! hopefully never!

    @she’s prejudiced:

    Marion is a beautiful person inside and out and if you judge someone for having an honest to go opinion that is not to your liking says a lot about you. We live in a country of free speech so get over it!!

    @Cher: And that freedom of free speech applies to every single person on the board, including you and “she’s prejudiced.” Don’t like her comment?Too bad. We live in a country of free speech, so get over it.

    Free Speech *******!!! Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but to judge or belittle someone when they have different beliefs\views just rubs me the wrong way.

    Ally Says:

    It’s such a shame that Marion was robbed in the Oscar and in this whole stupid awards season.
    She was amazing in Rust and Bone and really deserves all the awards she could get it, but she is not american and already won in 2008 for a french movie, and now that famewhore Chastain is making a stupid campaign to win a f*cking oscar and it’s pretty clear that she is going to win. Too bad! She is not even close of Marion’s talent and amazing acting in Rust and Bone. It’s also a shame that her co-star Matthias Schoenaerts was snobbed in this awards season too and he was so fantastic in the movie, he could replace Bradley Cooper but R&B is not distributed by the Weinstein Company and did not have Harvey Weinstein’s lobby, at least his short movie Death of a Shadow was nominated for best short, I hope it wins!

    That dress is unusual but very beautiful.
    Well, I have met a few Americans with pretty similar anti-American opinions. She’s entitled to express her opinion. I have heard her saying good things about America too. The truth is there is more crap than good stuff in your country… sorry people.

    Melina Says:

    @Anne: And where do you live, dear?

    Mary Says:

    Free speech? yeah…
    I see american actors saying bad things about other countries all the time and no one cares. That Zero Dark Thirty who-re made nasty comments about a muslim country and no one cares because she is american, but when foreigners says something bad about America, it’s the end of the world and everybody wants to kill them.
    That’s your country of free speech.
