    Love these two, both looks great. I was so sad that Marion was snubbed for her performance on Rust and Bone. She’s so talented.

    French girl Says:

    Ahahahah she is the worst actress of the world. Like Katie Holmes. Rust & Bones is so … bad. And I do not understand why she won an oscar for La Mome. In France, no one like her.

    Irreversible Says:

    @French girl: you’re a fake French girl

    @French girl:

    i’m french and i like her, but it’s true that a lot of french people are jealous of her success. In France we don’t like success (look at Depardieu…)

    carrie Says:

    @beetlejuice: Depardieu is ungracious

    French girl Says:

    It’s not a question of being jealous. For example, I love Jean Dujardin and I was so pleased when he won the oscar. He is one of the best french actor of his generation.
    But Cotillard is not a good actress, that’s the point. You just have to look her performance in Batman. And after that she said that it was because of C. Nolan, the director. She’s so pretentious and boring.

    Cher Says:

    @French girl:

    The death scene in Batman was not my cup of tea but to choose one bad scene and say Marion is a bad actress because of that one scene doesn’t add up. I have seen alot of her work and i’ve been very impressed so far and it takes ALOT to impress me. And may i add, it was very hard for Marion to break into Hollywood and instead of most of the French being happy and supportive, i’ve noticed that they’re very bitter and jealous and bring her down.

    Also, Marion has always spoken highly of Nolan and was being honest when she said when asked that she shot that death scene numerous of times and Nolan just went with the particular scene for whatever reason. Nothing scandalous about that.

    Marcel is so cute!

    Ally Says:

    Marcel is so cute! he looks a lot like Marion.
    Who’s the guy holding him in pic #6? anyone knows?

  21. 21
    I'll second that Says:

    as a real French girl I find it offensive that FRENCH GIRL gives her opinion as a general statement while I’m not a Fan of Marion she is undeniably a talented actress. I’ll agree though that her performance in Batman or La Mome were not her best. On another subject her son is a cutie who looks jut like is dad!

  22. 22
    Catherine Says:

    That’s Bastien Duval, a close friend of the Cotillard family and also Marion’s publicist. He often accompanies her on her trips to the US.

    BTW, Madame Cotillard can be seen in the 3rd picture. And doesn’t Marcel look so angry in the 5th picture, lol

  23. 23
    Ally Says:

    @Catherine: Thanks! I was wondering if the lady was Marion’s mom, thanks for confirm that too!
    @French girl: So, Marion is the worst actress of the world and no one in France likes her, but she already won two Cesar Awards and Rust and Bone was a big hit in France (critical and box office). Funny huh? =D
    I agree with the other comments, Marion is hated because she is the highest paid french actress and the most successful in Hollywood at the time, and nobody likes when a woman achieves this kind of success, when is a man is ok, but a woman? it seems like a crime.

  24. 24
    Anne Says:

    @French girl: In France, you basically love criticizing everything and everybody… râler pour tout et sur tout.. she was superb in La Mome.

  25. 25
    Anne Says:

    And that kid is so gorgeous. He looks like Guillaume.
