I’m sorry, but none of these actors deserve all the accolades they are getting based on this movie. It was a super cute movie and I loved it, but it is not in the same caliber as the other best picture nominees. And neither of these leads deserve it. And I think they were both stellar in the film! Just so tired of the politics of it all. Harvey will get his way, of course!

Jennifer Lawrence looks super gorgeous! She was absolutely amazing in the film.

@Message: The film was made under a 20 million budget. No special effects, over promotion, or high number of theaters. The film was based on amazing performances which is what Bradley, Jennifer, Robert Deniro, and everyone gave. Some movies are good because of the acting and this is one of those.

I’m loving Jen’s new style and hair

Loved the film

Hope Jennifer wins! She was so amazing in the film. Bradley was great too but there’s no way he stands a chance in front of Daniel Day Lewis.

I wonder if KStew is cutting herself. JLaw has 2 Oscar nominations. KStew = 0.

I actually liked the film a lot. Reminded me of those old time classic romantic comedies which we don’t see anymore. David O Russel did a great job and so did the whole cast.

Please, stop talking about “The Harvey Factor”. Actually, Harvey Weinstein is not a Superman > Leonardo Dicaprio for “Djungo Unchained”? NO NOMINATION!
Academy LOVES Silver Linings Playbook, that’s all! The first film in 31 years to receive Oscar noms in all four acting categories…
GOOD LUCK Jen’, Brad’, Bob, Jackie and David :’-)

They were both amazing and a great film doesn’t have to be over dramatic and full of angst and fire and brimstone they had chemistry and the film works.

really great film and really great actress.

this film is so overrated. Harvey’s going to buy his way to another best pic oscar!!

@Message and @astert, I agree, and @julie you probably don’t understand how the academy works, if the actors on this movie win anything is because they’re so likable, the academy enjoys likable people, why you think sandra bullock got an oscar? she’s a great person and very likable but not the greatest actress around. Deal with it, that’s how it works, doesn’t mean the actors are not talented, not at all, but an oscar doesn’t mean a thing nowadays.

the two them should start dating

@Tanya: Robert & Bradley?

I saw SLP and really enjoyed it. While it’s nice to see Robert, Jackie, Jennifer and Bradly nominated for Oscars, I Don’t see any of them winning. DDL will be very tough to beat for Best Actor, I think Best Actress will be a surprise-my money is on Emmanuelle Riva for Amour. I saw the film recently and her performance was truly emotional.
