Leonardo DiCaprio: Last Day Filming 'The Wolf of Wall Street'

Leonardo DiCaprio flashes a smile while filming on his last day for his new movie The Wolf of Wall Street at Rao’s Restaurant on Saturday (January 12) in East Harlem, N.Y.

Later in the day, the 38-year-old actor was casually dressed while walking on set.

Looking hot and that smile…. Yummy! I can`t wait to see him back to his original hair color though…

# 2

still can’t believe he wasn’t nominated…Bradley Cooper, Tarantino and Jamie Foxx have all spoken out about how dissapointed they are that he wasn’t…

# 3

Jesus he’s a wide c**t….huge shoulders, thought he was small

# 4

Adoreable words from Kerry Washington about Leo On what we’d be surprised to know about DiCaprio as a person, she said: “He’s a totally committed actor and he’s very sensitive. He would stop between takes and be like, ‘Are you OK? Are you OK? Am I hurting you? Are you OK’ And we all just really helped each other to take risks and go for it.” So amazing

# 5

Ya Jamie said he was “gutted” for Leo and heres what Bradley said http://uk.eonline.com/news/378005/bradley-cooper-reveals-his-date-for-oscar-night

@2: I agree. I haven`t seen all the supporting performances but it`s hard to believe that Leo`s performance wasn`t good enough for a nominations. Waltz was good but Leo was better. That scene at the dinner table when he cut his hand. It was phenomenal!!!!! I have to agree with other comments ( on other threads ) that unfortunately being nominated is not just about acting.

# 8

Ugh. He is so overrated and ugly.

# 9

Daaaam boys got SWAG

#6 It really isn’t all about the acting anymore which is sad, anyone see the critics choice awards where Bradley Cooper went to hug Harvey Weinstein and was completely dissed? LOL

I cannot WAIT for this movie,I read some of the script and if they keep more of those scenes in man its going to be crazy!!

Apparently this was shooting at 6am….thats early, hopefully Leo can get some shut eye before the globes tomorrow!

UGH. HE. IS. SO. HOT.

singleton @ 01/12/2013 at 1:36 pm

He hasn’t been linked with anyone in aaaages….hmmm wonder has he someone on the DL?! I can’t remember a time when hes been offically single for so long, wasn’t the Erin break up in like October?

@singleton:
Sigh. There has to be one focusing on his sex life. Everyone else is talking about his work and talent. And the whys of his Oscar snub.

oscar curse @ 01/12/2013 at 1:39 pm

The whole of HW seems to be blowing up about Leo not being nominated it was a JOKE, The Academy seem to have it out for him for some strange reason. Also the fact that he doesn’t shamlessly promote himself probably works against him, I’ve seen roughly 3 interviews with him for Django he didn’t push it AT ALL…..which makes a change from actors such as Cooper who constantly in our faces. I say good for Leo not shamelessly promoting himself like that.

I didn’t see that.What happened?

singleton @ 01/12/2013 at 1:41 pm

#LOL I was just genuinely wondering, thought someone might know something?! Just usually he isn’t single for this long

Bradley had just won for best comedy actor or whatever and he hugged the sitting the right of him and Harvey was to the left and Bradley went to put him arms around him and Harvey just stood there and did nothing totally dissing him….it looked like a VERY awkward moment

Ya think this movie has had a 4 am call time practically every day, poor Leo must have been tired walking to set and having paps flashing at you at that hour of the morning must be nightmarish – as we can seee from his not to amused face in these pics

Terrible! Marc Jacobs tortures a young girl called Angel Barta for 5 years and steals her fashion designs. He cruelly terrorizes her and fooled with love promises. Read the shocking details: styleangelique.blogspot .hu/2012/12/marc-jacobs-godfather-in-sponge-bob.html

Django is set to be Tarantions highest grossing movie EVER, goes to show Leo’s pulling power even as opposed to Brad Pitt in ********

Wouldn’t suprize me if Leo didn’t go to the GGs, don’t think I would if I were him….why the hell should he after this weeks past events

Django is AMAZING, Leo is so good I actually found myself being sucked into what he was saying (dinner table scene for those who have seen it) and I had to remind myself this is complete NONSENSE but It took me a few seconds to adjust….thats just how good and convincing he was in this role, what the academy was thinking I’ll never know.

#7 Holy crap I totally forgot about the Aviator….HOW HAS THIS MAN NOT GOT AN OSCAR?!?!!! Maybe he slept with one of the academy members daughters and never called them again or something, or else I just cannot fathom why!!

Leo is getting more press for NOT being nominated then if he had been, crazy

#7 I had totally forgotten about Rev Road my God his performance in that was heart wrenching, anyone ever read that story about how some of Leos actual best scenes were cut from that movie by Mendez? In particular scenes at the end…..must be some bad blood there

Haha I love his walk, its so “Im the absolute **** and I know it”

noooo I wanted this to finish days ago so Leo would have some red carpet stubble, DAM U MARTY

I love his shoes

@30 Maybe they continued on some of their Titanic lip biting make out sheshes of the RR set? http://popcultureperversion.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/tumblr_ln0dewgrbj1qdnjiio1_500.gif

She did proclaim her undying love for Leo right in front of her husband so ya, say that would cause some hostillity

You guys, Leo didn’t get snubbed, stop acting like its such a huge diss. His acting is not as good as others, that’s a fact. I’m not saying he is terrible but he needs to work on it. The times when he was nominated for Aviator and Blood Diamond and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape are some of his best performances. He didn’t win, oh well. Just because he’s Leo doesn’t mean everything he does deserves a nomination….you guys are getting way ahead of yourselves. People have been talking about Christoper Waltz and Samuel L. Jackson being stand-out performances for Django, much more than Leo, so I’m not surprised. You all need a reality check.

A fact? It`s your opinion, honey, and you calling that a fact is pretty laughable. If someone needs a reality check, that`s you. You have proven that a couple of times already!

some knowledge for dat ass @ 01/12/2013 at 4:42 pm

@Nat:
…Wtf. I know this is probably embellishment, but this right here is exactly what is wrong with society as a whole. That scene was an ode to the World Trade Fair which pretty much justified slavery based on invalid “scientific data.” Anyway, I really hope the film itself encourages White people and Americans alike to really go read up on history — something outside of the books your schools tell you to read since a lot of the material is white washed. Maybe then people will begin to understand how slavery, and the subsequent hundred years of oppression thanks to Jim Crow laws & other discriminatory laws have contributed to the state of “black America” and racism (both civil and institutionalized) today.

@Kev…
The film’s success does not sit squarely on the shoulders of Leonardo, if at all. If anyone, the film being so successful has to do more with it being a Tarantino flick in itself. Quentin’s name draws huge crowds because they attract a HUGE demographic. Also, this is the first film which the main characters are Black. This could also contribute to it being highly grossing — it attracted a larger “urban” audience than say.. Inglorious ******** which may have been more isolated to aficionados of Tarantino.

I definitely believe in Leo DiCaprio as a talented actor and agree that there were other roles he got Oscar noms for that he should have won. I was not that surprised that he didn’t get a nom for Django. I saw it and it was really good and Leo was good in it, but his performance was a bit campy. I have little doubt that he will win an Oscar at some point.

The Academy doesn’t have a one track mind set on LEO LEO LEO twenty-four-seven. I don’t normally agree with the hater up there, but in this case she’s right, it was not the gigantic snub the overly dramatic Leo stans make it out to be. Most critics singled out Sam Jackson as the best performance but you don’t say he was snubbed. I would’ve picked him over Walsh and DiCaprio. There are a lot of great actors and performances that don’t get nominated. Leo has received more recognition for his work than most actors ever will.

Nobody thinks the Academy has a mind set of LEO LEO LEO 24/7. That`s beyond exaggerating. It was an amazing performance and that`s why many people expected a nomination. That`s it.
Also it`s quite interesting how you refer to people as `haters`s and `stans` ( obsessed fans ) here. Maybe you should take back a notch…

So the WOWS filming is now over. I can’t wait to see him going back to his natural hair colour.
Thanks JARED for the pics. I guess he’ll be free to move to L.A.

Maybe you should take it back a notch and acknowledge that Sam Jackson’s performance garnered more critical praise than DiCaprio’s, and more critics expected Waltz to get the nomination than DiCaprio. It wasn’t a snub or an oversight. His was one of many good performances that didn’t get a nomination.

I’m sure he must be glad to be able to go back home in LA now that it’s a wrap for Wolf.

I haven`t offended anyone by them hater or obsessed fan. I have read articles and other boards and I haven`t really seen Samuel L. Jackson being favored over Leo or Waltz. I personally found Jackson(`s character ) pretty annoying and his performance didn`t stand out to me. I wasn`t shocked at all that he wasn`t nominated for his role. I have to agree with many many people on Leo being snubbed.

she said that about the ENTIRE team and Quen in particular, not Dicaprio.

*by calling them hater or obsessed fan.
There are different opinions about the nominations for the Academy Awards. I don`t see anything wrong with that. Clearly people have mixed feelings about it and not just in Leo`s case. ( I was truly surprised by Ben Affleck or Kathryn Bigelow not being nominated. ) People have different opinion about these 3 supporting characters in Django. Not the end of the world. But when I read this `Leo mind set 24/7 ` and calling his fans `stans` that made me irritated.

Why don’t you go and discuss Django on another thread, this is about the ending of the Wolf of Wall Street filming.

@52: So what should we talk about the ending of WOWS filming? It`s over and he is heading back to LA and hopefully his original hair color. What else is there?
By the way Django and the award he just won for that role was mentioned in the post so maybe that`s why people are talking about it….

Leo’s oscar snub causes internet riots haha
I am so glad he has so many supporters

@53 I miss his natural hair too :)

I just hope he won’t show up at the Oscars! There’s no need for it. He’ll probably attend all pre and post parties, though. With his usual male partners: Connolly, Haas… and some available blonde giggling bimbos.

All I have to say is that if Bradley cooper wins an Oscar before Leo, I am going to puke…..

Do you guys think he might have a good chance to get the GG award for Django tomorrow?

Leo was spotted at the 2nd Annual Sean Penn and Friends Help Haiti Home Gala benefiting J/P HRO presented by Giorgio Armani at Montage Hotel on January 12, 2013 in Los Angeles, California.

He got robbed once again! He deserves an oscar or 5!!!! You’re the BEST Leo♥♥♥
