OlderLena Dunham: 'Girls' Wins Best Comedy Series at Golden Globes 2013!
Lena Dunham, Allison Williams, and Zosia Mamet celebrate with their Golden Globe in the press room backstage at the 2013 Golden Globes held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 13) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The ladies were victorious at the show that evening, with Girls picking up the prize for Best Comedy Series and Lena winning an individual award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Musical or Comedy Series!
FYI: Lena is wearing a Zac Posen dress, Fred Leighton jewels, and Christian Louboutin shoes. Allison is wearing a J. Mendel gown with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. Zosia is wearing a Tony Ward dress and Brian Atwood shoes with Norman Silverman diamond earrings and stackable rings.

SO OVERRATED. The writing on this show is not clever, it is not fresh, it is BORING. Totally banal. How did this win?
I think Lena is nice, and pretty. I don’t think she is ugly at all. I think her eyes are very beautiful, doe-like almost. But I can understand why some people are annoyed by her success. She’s a seeming hipster, who through her connections in the art world, her parents being artists, got her big break. Lots of people are sitting on the couch now, thinking that could have been me. I have great ideas too. I think she’s a very talented writer…I don’t know. Life is unfair. Hopefully her success will just spur people to create their own success stories as well, although I know it can be difficult.
She deserves it, “Girls” is one hell of a show. Couldn’t be happier to accidentally play the wrong video on youtube.
