Emilia recently chatted with Access Hollywood about landing the lead role in the upcoming Broadway play Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

“It kind of just came about, I’m very, very lucky,” Emilia shared. “The play itself is like set in the ‘40s, which is when the novel is set so it’s slightly different, but it’s still like fashion crazy, it’s amazing.”

    Set in the 1940′s? Both the novel and movie are set in the early 1960′s.

    @TF:

    She’s saying it’s different from the film, because she was asked directly about the comparison between her and Audrey Hepburn. The original novella was set in the 40s, but Hepburn’s film was set in the 60s. Clarke’s play will be set in the 40s, so she won’t be playing the Audrey Hepburn role, per se.
