Happy Endings will start airing back-to-back original episodes to fill in the void left by Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23, starting Tuesday (January 29).

“Sad to say ABC has pulled #Apt23 and will not be airing the 8 remaining episodes any time soon. Translation: we’ve basically been cancelled,” James Van Der Beek tweeted.

Wrong info. ABC has pulled ‘Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23′ from the schedule, but the show hasn’t been officially canceled.

  • Rae

Bummer, this show is pretty darn good.

  • Mike

I couldn’t care less, this show was great when it started (season 1) but season 2 has been a lot of thing that are not even funny.

  • Brenda Barrett

Krysten Ritter just isn’t very good. I didn’t enjoy her in Gilmore Girls or Veronica Mars, and am not sure how she got cast as the lead in a series.

  • Annaliz

Noooo!! I really love this show, it’s prettty good, I’m going to miss it :(

  • Amy

I hope Krysten Ritter gets work on another sitcom.

and crap like 2 broke girl is still on the air… too bad Krysten was hilarious in the show

  • Yohji

This is very frustrating, one of few genuinely funny shows on the main network channels. With Happy Endings and Community essentially being the only other ones (probably forgot a few others).

  • Tara

Sad news for the actors losing their sitcom. But maybe this frees up Krysten Ritter for a flashback as Jane before Breaking Bad ends? She did do one flashback in season 3 so I’m crossing my fingers for another one in season 5. She and Aaron Paul are so great onscreen together!

  • Roman

I love her, but I hate network programming so I refuse to watch.

  • B

@Brenda Barrett: You’re kidding right? I don’t think anyone they put in this part could be more fit for it.

  • B

    @Cath: I don’t understand. Isn’t it a matter of time, then?

  • Lori333

I’m so sad about this show being cancelled!!!! Ugh. All the good ones get the boot! I hope another network picks it up or something.

ABC is messing with my favourite shows and I dont appreciate it. First they messed Happy Endings up by randomly airing random episode all the time. Personally, I think that that’s one of the best comedies on TV right now. But now thye go ahead and cancel Dont Trust the B. UGH! Whatever. Cable is getting on my last nerve. I am at the point where I am just going to stick with HBO. (end of rant AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!)

  • Ana

Nooooo!!! ABC stop cancelling my favorite comedy shows. Some people may not like ‘Don’t trust the B—- in apt.23′ but it’s well written and funny as hell.

If its produced by the CW, it would most likely to continue. That loser network renews shows w/ horrible ratings from 0.6 – 0.3.

  • Claudia

    Nooooo….i”m só sad now:(

  • Shannon

This is such a funny, well-written show! My husband and I love it. Please please please don’t cancel Don’t Trust The B!

  • Ina

SAD. But I’m going to go crazy if they cancel Happy Endings!! It’s so freaking funny!!

  • jen

oh NO, it’s such a funny sitcom! Hope it goes on Cable soon!!

  • Fefe

    WHAT ? WHAT ?
For once there was a decent well-written and spontaneous comedy on Tv and they cancel it ? Why ???

  • emmie

This is such sad news! I enjoyed watching this quirky series, and I’m definitely going to miss it. I can’t say I’m surprised about its cancellation though. After all, I only knew a few friends and DISH coworkers that actually watched it. The most frustrating thing is that this slim audience wasn’t the show’s fault, but rather that people didn’t really know about the show in the first place. I for one rarely saw commercials for it. In fact, the only way I stumbled on this hilarious comedy was because my DISH Hopper DVR’s PrimeTime Anytime feature auto-records it and everything else on the major networks during primetime hours, which constantly opens me up to a world of new shows. Otherwise, I would’ve missed out on one heck of a comedy!

  • Leni

Too bad. It was cute. I loved James Van Der Beek in it, he was hilarious. A lovely surprise!

I love this show. Maybe the remaining episodes will show up on Netflix, Amazon, or iTunes.
