OlderEmily VanCamp: 'Captain America 2' Female Lead!
Emily VanCamp has reportedly landed the lead female role in the highly anticipated superhero flick, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, according to Deadline!
The 26-year-old actress is reportedly in talks to play the character of Sharon Carter, the niece of Hayley Atwell‘s character Peggy Carter from the first flick. In case you don’t remember, the first film jumped into present time at the end.
“It’s been an AMAZING week. Thanks for all the twitter love! ;)” Emily tweeted today (February 1).

SAY WHAT!! :-S :-S I can’t imagine her doing a movie like THIS. uuummm I m not looking forward to this :-( I expected someone else she is more of a TV material actor. I guess its coz I have seen her in tv shows a lot…she did one movie with Joseph Morgan thats all I know. But she better not date CHRIS. SERIOUSLY GIRL u need to keep those harmones to yourself and just be with one guy for LONG!!!

NO!! I’m sorry but as a fan of the comics I cannot see her playing this character. When I think of Agent 13 I can see Teresa Palmer playing her, but not Emily VanCamp.
