Lena Dunham Wins DGA Award for 'Girls' Pilot!

Lena Dunham hits the red carpet at the 2013 Directors Guild of America Awards held in the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland on Saturday (February 2) in Los Angeles.

The 26-year-old entertainer picked up the award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Comedy Series for the Girls pilot. She beat out several directors, including Bryan Cranston for his work on an episode of Modern Family.

During her speech, Lena said “Steven Spielberg I am coming for you; Ben Affleck, I already came for you.” Looks like Ben‘s okay with that since the pair were super friendly on the red carpet – see below!

FYI: Lena is wearing a custom Thakoon dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, and Martin Katz jewelry.

Bryan = awesomeness.

LOL at Lena’s speech, freaking brilliant

Love Bryan Cranston…great to see him getting this huge career boost at this stage…he was HILARIOUS in Malcom in the Middle…

Can’t stand Lena Dunham. I don’t care how PC or on the pulse she is; I do not want to see her get naked or sprout boring narcissistic ponderous musings on life through that sad excuse for a TV show.
