Beyonce Halftime Show & Super Bowl 2013 Ratings Down

The ratings and viewership scores for the 2013 Super Bowl are in and while it is the third-most watched program in television history, the ratings are down from last year.

Beyonce‘s halftime show earned a 48.2/71 rating, which means 48.2% of all televisions in the nation were tuned in to the show while 71% of all people actually watching TV during the show were viewing the program.

The halftime show ratings are down just slightly from Madonna‘s show last year, which earned a 48.1/72 rating.

The Super Bowl’s overall rating was 46.3/69 and an average of 108.41 million people tuned in for the game.

The post-Super Bowl broadcast of Elementary, which started later than any other post-game show due to the power outage, earned 20.8 million viewers, a high for the freshman series.
