OlderJennifer Hudson: Super Bowl Performance was 'Overwhelming'
Jennifer Hudson heads into the NBC Studios for an early morning appearance on The Today Show on Monday (February 4) in New York City.
The 31-year-old singer talked about performing “America the Beautiful” with the Sandy Hook Elementary School Chorus the night before at the Super Bowl.
“It was emotional. Just being there and seeing the kids. I mean, they’re close and it’s very close to home for myself as well. It was overwhelming,” Jennifer said.
“Before we sat in the room and I got to meet them and then we went over the song. That’s where I couldn’t get through the song because it was just overwhelming. Before we all went out I hugged each and every one of them,” Jennifer added.
Jennifer also said that her favorite part of the evening was her pal Beyonce putting the lights out with her Super Bowl Halftime Show.

I loved the Sandy Hook kids and felt they should have let them sing that alone, there was no need for Jennifer Hudson.

She looked really pretty on the SB pregame but with out not here. Another person that should thank her makeup person like Oprah and Jennifer Aniston do. Without makeup these woman are really ugly.
