Chris Pratt: 'Guardians of the Galaxy' Leading Man!

Chris Pratt has landed the leading role in the upcoming Marvel superhero flick Guardians of the Galaxy, according to Deadline.

The 33-year-old Parks and Recreation actor, who bulked up last year for his role in the Oscar-nominated flick Zero Dark Thirty, will play the role of Star-Lord (aka Peter Quill), who is the offspring of a human mother and an alien father.

In the comic book, “Star-Lord leads a group of alien superheros who team to protect the solar system from an evil alien race.”
