The 38-year-old country singer and the 30-year-old American Idol winner combine forces for a beautiful new rendition of the 1997 hit.
The track is featured on Jewel‘s very first greatest hits compilation titled Greatest Hits – available in stores and on iTunes NOW!
Greatest Hits includes a handful of tracks spanning all the way back to her 1995 debut Pieces of You as well as a re-worked version of “You Were Meant For Me” with the Pistol Annies.

Also why’d they rock it out? Prefer the softer instrumental background.
I think it’s wonderful. And I don’t agree that Jewel screwed Kelly over with lines. Its a fairly even-handed duet. She clearly anchors it, as it’s HER classic song that SHE wrote. But they both shine brilliantly. Wish there was music like this on the radio today.
