Douglas Booth Covers 'VMan' Next Gen Issue (Exclusive)

Douglas Booth stares into the distance on the cover of VMan‘s Next Gen Issue, provided exclusively to JustJared.com.

Here is what the 20-year-old Romeo & Juliet actor had to share with the mag:

On his good looks: “It very quickly isn’t flattering to be known only for the way you look. It’s just uninteresting if that’s all people want to talk about. I don’t necessarily want to hear about my talent or my greatness as an actor. You can say I’m sh-t, if you think so. But make it about something I do. The grittier, the dirtier, the worse I can look, the happier I am. It takes the pressure off.”

Noah co-star Emma Watson on his looks: “We met when he was 15 and I remember looking at him and thinking he was offensively attractive. And it’s just gotten worse from there.”

On overcoming nerves about playing Romeo: “[I thought] f-ck it, they’re choosing me because I can bring something fresh to it. Something in-the-moment and real, which is the spirit of Romeo, isn’t it?”

For more from Douglas, make sure to pick up the VMan issue when it hits newsstands on February 14!
