Who Won Album of the Year? 2013 Grammy Goes To...

Mumford & Sons were the big winners of the night at the 2013 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 10) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The guys – Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, Winston Marshall, and Ted Dwane – picked up the award for Album of the Year for their album Babel.

The band beat out Frank Ocean‘s Channel Orange, The Black KeysEl Camino, Fun.‘s Some Nights, and Jack White‘s Blunderbluss for the big honor.

During their acceptance speech, the guys thanked their fellow British artist Adele, who presented them the award.

FYI: Marcus and Winston are wearing Levi’s jeans.

The big question is why Johnny Depp was orange when he introduced Mumford.

# 2

Trust the Grammys to pick boring bland wannabe folk artists like them.

# 3

Good for them! They deserve it. They write great, poetic lyrics. Not ones bashing ex’s or talking about beauty and beats.

# 4

@ya: As opposed to unintelligible rappers who have to steal beats from real musicians?

Frank Ocean isn’t a rapper idiot he’s a singer.

Babel smashed a ton of sales records when it came out. It also broke records on Spotify. Don’t understand people on the Internet calling their win undeserving. They are amazing!

Wow. All of those other albums must be really c*r*a*p*p*y because I have that Mumford & Sons album and they are just a one-note band.

Must admit I havent heard of them, but now I’ll have to check them out :)

The black keys with el camino should have won, every single song was good and most were amazing, the black keys deserve it

**a One note band? perhaps because marcus is a fan of D..but its not just the music that’s good, their lyrics are genius and poetic. They are by far the best band out there and deserve the award.
