Who Won Record of the Year? 2013 Grammy Goes To...

Gotye and Kimbra picked up the award for Record of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 10) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The 32-year-old singer and his collaborator Kimbra won the prize for their song “Somebody That I Used to Know,” which spent many weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 last year.

Gotye and Kimbra received their award from Prince and they both thanked him in their acceptance speeches.

The pair beat out The Black Keys‘ “Lonely Boys,” Kelly Clarkson‘s “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You),” Taylor Swift‘s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” Fun. and Janelle Monae‘s “We Are Young,” and Frank Ocean‘s “Thinkin’ About You” for the award.
