'Walking Dead' Mid-Season Premiere Draws Record Ratings!

The Walking Dead returned for the second half of its third season with a big bang!

The AMC series brought in 12.3 million viewers, a record-breaking audience for the zombie show starring Andrew Lincoln, Laurie Holden, and Norman Reedus.

This episode’s audience, which faced competition from the 2013 Grammy Awards, beat the previous series high of 10.9 million viewers for the season three premiere back in October, according to THR.

Even though The Walking Dead is on a cable network, it is still beating hit shows like The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family and NCIS in the demos!

I don’t even like that show any more. It lost its way some time back. Rick going insane is NOT helping. If he could just be the kind of leader that he should be, maybe the show would be worth watching for me. But it ain’t.
