Alicia Keys: NBA All-Star Game Halftime Show - Watch Now!

Alicia Keys hits the stage for a performance during the 2013 NBA All-Star Game Halftime Show held at the Toyota Center on Sunday (February 17) in Houston, Tex.

The 32-year-old singer, who belted out her songs “Empire State of Mind,” “Girl on Fire,” “No One,” and “New Day”, had her dancers rock the new line of Monster Headphones throughout the show as a tribute to her husband Swizz Beatz (he’s a part owner of Monster Inc.).

During the game, Swizz sat in courtside seats just a few feet away from Beyonce and Jay-Z!

The day before, Alicia sat courtside while attending the Taco Bell Skills Challenge and the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest during the All-Star Weekend.

    So we’re all just going to ignore the apparent pregnancy stomach she has been showing for the past few weeks? And in a crop top no less?

    She very talented but i get sick of seeing her every where, i mean her songs can get pretty boring

  • SammiPage

    She hasn’t lost all the weight from her first kid , she’s not preggo
    I am also tired of her boring songs.

  • Sonya

    @Allie
    : I was thinking the same thing. She looks like she is, but I’m still not sure. Either way she is beautiful and she sounded great.

  • PrinceFluffBall

    @Clarabella: hated it the first time i heard it and haven’t warmed to it yet

    Loving how different and FRESH Alicia’s keeping it! Say what you want, but she’s growing and changing and doing it damn well!!

    Basiiiiic!

    She and Ne-Yo were H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E
    Alicia lost her voice completely because she sounded a mess.

    Overall the ASG was boring. The competition was blah and the crowd was dull. The past ASG’s in the earlier 2000′s and before had better competition and crowds than this.

  • Allie

    @Pat: When her voice started to crack and strain, and she couldn’t hit the notes anymore I felt sooooo bad for her. That must have been embarrassing.

    there’s something very nasal/irritating about her live singing voice and her way of pronouncing words… it’s undeniable that she is a talented singer, but her performances just don’t do it for me.

  • kimmy

    wow she has really lost ‘it’

  • King

    Alicia should stick to the piano.

    @Allie:
    I know what you mean. I wasn’t worried about this performance at all because she has been so on top of her performances lately, but when her voice cracked the first time, I was like “oh no” and it was obvious there was a problem. Still Alicia pulled it off and finished the show. I am extremely proud of her and I still enjoyed her performance. The choreography, her look, the dancing, and for the most part her voice was good but still strained at points. She is a real trooper and I admire her courage. She is definitely brave and like she said, not perfect, like the rest of us. Gotta love her.
