Ben Foster has been announced as Shia LaBeouf‘s replacement in the Broadway play Orphans, THR reports.

News that the 26-year-old actor was leaving the show broke yesterday, leaving fans wondering who would replace him in the play co-starring Alec Baldwin and Tom Sturridge.

Later in the day, Shia shared some e-mails about what happened during the rehearsal process relating to his departure.

“BEN FOSTER IS A BEAST. HE WILL KILL IT.” Shia tweeted about the casting news.
