    PrinceFluffBall Says:

Anna needs to put on just a tiny bit of weight to fill her cheeks out abit more, She looks gorgeous anyway.

    Annie Says:

I adore the dress but I don’t like her newly formed hatchet face.

    Bubu Says:

She’s too skinny, and doesn’t look a bit of healthy to me.
Eat girl, i know that’s Hollywood and you’re just another actress but eat!

They are an average looking couple and I do agree that Anna needs to put on some weight. Maybe she is breastfeeding her twins which can cause a woman to lose a lot of weight.

Anna looks beautiful, she has a unique style. Is nice to see her again in some public events after her absence in the past months. I hope she puts some weight to fill her x-men costume, her body looked great in that uniform.

    Maddy Says:

Anna looks beautiful, but a bit tired. That certainly is understandable, after all she has twin infants at home! I think Anna and Stephen are a beautiful and hot couple. Looking forward to season 6 of True Blood!!

    Katy Says:

    He’s got a big forehead.

What is WRONG with some of you. They are actors not models! Who cares what they look like!

    About that Says:

@starsh:They aren’t promoting anything except for themselves so what are we supposed to talk about besides how they look? Besides, the only thing they act in is a soap opera on HBO and I’ve never seen him anything good and she hasn’t been remotely good in anything in over a decade.
On that note: They’re both impeccably dressed, but look incredibly haggard. I know people are saying Anna lost too much weight, but to be honest he looks a bit too thin too.

    Sofia B Says:

@ About that – Anna and Stephen have TWO infants at home. It’s no wonder they look pretty tired! Even with help it is a big job, and then you have to look perfect for the camera. Cut them some slack. They are only human ( People are so harsh in their comments )

Btw, Anna was awarded the 2011 London Film Critics award for Best Actress! ( She tied with Meryl Streep)
I am a fan and as you can tell I think they are a GREAT couple!

    Chloe Says:

I’m sorry, but I don’t believe that someone who has been steadily shrinking for years now and lists kombucha as her biggest “vice” got to this size just because she is breast feeding. She’s been on the path of being too thin for a while now. She used to be healthy thin, but now I’m worried for her.

    About that Says:

@Sofia B: They’ve looked haggard for years. If I thought it was just because of their children I wouldn’t have said it.
But that movie was filmed in 2005. Anna hasn’t acted in anything good in about 7 years. And while she was an excellent child actor and a good young adult actor, I don’t know anyone IRL who thinks that she’s a good adult actor. One friend but off my statement of “I’ve been trying to figure out if Anna Paquin is a good actress” with: “She’s not.”
I am glad that other people can still enjoy her because I miss Anna back when she was a better actor and seemed more relatable.

    Pie Says:

@About that: In 2010, Anna received TWO Golden Globe nominations along with Matt Damon, Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep, which didn’t seem to be that long ago. Even myself couldn’t take her role in TB seriously, which occupies most of her time in a year, I think we fans need to wait patiently for HBO to end it.

  16. 16
    About that Says:

@Pie: So you can’t take her role as Sookie seriously, but you’ll count her Golden Globe nomination for it? And I think she has potential as an actress, but she’ll never be as good as Streep or Damon so don’t group them together. She might be able to be in the same league as Bullock if she works hard at it though. And I sincerely hope that she does because as I implied above I believe that she has talent that she is not utilizing

I didn’t even hear about her Hallmark TV movie so I can’t say either way if she was good in that, although I am inclined to believe that it was probably nominated on some merit as opposed to some of the HBO shows that are only nominated because HBO campaigns for awards so much. At the same time, most Hallmark TV movies aren’t exactly filled with great acting so I’m still a little bit suspicious. I guess if it’s ever on again I’ll try to watch.

    Pie Says:

@About that: I’m simply disappointed with recently seasons, but I do think S1 and S2 are good enough for her to receive more recognition. Personally, I think emmy & SAG owed her a nomination for S2. Anna is always in favor of indie movies and mostly her performances are quite solid. Once again, I’m a fan, so obviously I’m biased.

  18. 18
    About that Says:

@Pie: We’ll just have to agree to disagree about True Blood. She was much better in season 1 and 2, but she definitely did not deserve to be nominated for them.
Are there any movies of hers that you can recommend? I always try to give actors a fair chance. I tried earlier with Anna and was not impressed with the movie that I chose. I’m due to request a new movie on Netflix soon anyway so I’m willing to give her another shot.

    About that Says:

@Pie: I forgot to say that I looked up Margaret and it seems like it’s hit or miss. And a reviewer that I trust said that Anna’s character is annoying by the end. I know that it is still possible to appreciate an actor’s ability to pull off an annoying character, but I think it would probably be best if I tried another movie instead.

@About that: Bury my heart at wounded knee, The Piano, The courageous heart of Irena Sendler, X2, The 25th hour. I belive she’s one of the finest actresses of her generation, but I’m going to let Meryl Streep defend her talent when she said she deserved to win the Oscar for Margaret the same year she did: http://www.gettyimages.es/detail/v%c3%addeo/meryl-streep-on-olivia-colman-anna-paquin-at-iron-v%c3%addeos-de-noticias/142120648

    About that Says:

@mel: Thank you. I already got a new disk, but I’ll try to remember to get one of your suggestions next time. I wanted something from when she was an adult so The Piano does not apply, although I do agree with you that she did an excellent job. I’ve already seen X2 and she was kind of in between a teenager and adult anyway, and I think she was good, but nothing special in it. You can’t rent The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler and it’s not going to be on TV anytime soon, so I guess I’ll rent The 25th Hour or Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee!
    Thank you for the suggestions!
