Should’ve been Steven Spielberg.

Congratulations! A fantastic movie, and well deserved win including cinematography and original score!

# 5

Ang Lee of course! It was a very difficult movie to direct and he did a great job!

Come on!!! 75% of the movie was special effects, there’s no way he should’ve won.

Steven Spielberg should’ve won between those who were nominated.

However, even more surprising was the fact that the two films with the best directing came from Kathryn Bigelow and Ben Afleck who weren’t even nominated by the Academy…go figure.

Very talented director, has done so many different type movies and second oscar win. First win for Brokeback Mountain (should have also won best picture) and now Life of Pi. Sense and Sensibility & Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon were also very good movies.

@Realoscars:@Steve Perry: Ang Lee was one of the few who deserved his win, along with Daniel Day Lewis.
Everyone else awards were a joke. Anne, Ben, Jennifer.
I wonder how much money they spent on campaigning for those undeserved awards.
The Oscars have become a joke.

Congradulation to Ang Lee! Talented Director.
