Anne Hathaway - Oscars 2013 Red Carpet

Anne Hathaway makes her grand entrance on the red carpet at the 2013 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 24) in Hollywood.

The 30-year-old actress looked beautiful in a Prada light pink duchesse satin backless column gown.

“I’m just overjoyed, it’s a blessing. It’s as simple as that,” Anne said on the red carpet about the last few months. “I guess it really all begins with getting married. I found my soulmate and we committed ourselves to each other and it’s just the best thing ever. All of this has just been the cherry on top of a wonderful, wonderful dish of vegan ice cream.”

Anne is nominated tonight for Best Supporting Actress for her work in Les Miserables and she will also be performing the song “I Dreamed a Dream”!

Ann Hathaway is such a sweet soul, it’s a shame that the media likes to bully the sweet nice actresses as you can go ahead and see in the pathetic article yahoo wrote about bashing her last acceptance speech for no reason at all. Ann looks stunning as always, and the media needs to stop attacking her.

I love the concept of this dress and it would be beautiful if it were not for the pointy boobs. The necklace is amazing. She looks very pretty, which says a lot coming from me because she annoys the hell out of me.

Liked her before this award season because she seemed like a strong, sexy actress. Now I find her mouse-y looking and completely vulnerable/weak and I’m afraid that if she doesn’t win she might have a breakdown.

    Mara Says:

She doesn’t seem to understand that the idea is to wear knickers AND a bra at the same time. She seems to pick one and forget the other.

Very rude to diss Valentino, especially when she’s besties with Valentino and Giancarlo Giametti (his partner and Valentino CEO). She got married in Valento, for God’s sake. She just spent New Year’s at his house in Gstaad. I bet he isn’t happy. I’m hoping for his sake that she apologized to Valentino before she decided to go with the Prada. But as everyone says, one can never go wrong in Valentino! Oh well…

Ugly dress on an ugly actress.

    Lisa Says:

I think she is beautiful and very charming in this dress. Sometimes less is more. She doesn’t need a very busy dress to show off her talent and good looks.
I bet the rest of you ajust soooooo jealous.

    David Says:

It’s just amazing to me what the negative ongoing magnitude towards scantily dressed women are. I swear if it were up to many of you, women would still be dressing in Victorian era clothing. Corsets, multiple layers and full length dresses would be oh so feminine…even when going to the beach. That time did exist.
    Guess what people.
Remember that there was a time not long ago that anything a women wore showing their legs, arms or lower neck was an absolute no-no and considered classless. Women in shorts, knee length dresses, t-shirts, bikinis etc etc, were once considered unladylike, common and whoreish. Yet today this is completely acceptable.
Many women have subscribed to the idea that if it’s not “safe” and not something I would (or can’t) wear. it warrants ridicule and admonishment. Guess what, you are no better than the parents of the early 1950′s generation of parents that claimed the newest fashion movement of the time, tight jeans, were not worn by ladies but only *****, druggies and hippies”.!
Ask a grandparent or parent that lived in the 50′s what was thought of young women that wore tight jeans or any fitted clothing! It was not a pretty time.
For god sake! Regardless of here acting ability/inability (and I’m not a Hathaway fan) she gets credit for being fit, looking feminine and being able to dress sexy. Good for her. Of course there are appropriate places for wearing a bra but on the flip-side there are times when not wearing one is also appropriate like evening and party dress attire. Instead of the jealously and bitterness towards something you wouldn’t happen or be able to wear, what’s with the nastiness towards women that can pull it off. Really, I don’t know what we would do in this country without hypocrisy, judgment, jealousy and bitterness towards others.
