I love this guy to death but still wish dicaprio was nominated and won for this catagory. Leonardos performance was the entire movie. Everyone else was secondary.

I thought Waltz was great, but there was really no depth to his chararcter and he really was a lead. Once again Leo’s chances are diminished. It breaks my heart because his performance is what made that movie!! Leo totally lost himself and went to another place with Calvin Candie. I think it was one of his best, if not the best performance he’s given so far. I hope the Academy wakes up soon and gives him the recognition he deserves!
