Christoph Waltz Wins Best Supporting Actor Oscar 2013!

Christoph Waltz hits the red carpet at the 2013 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 24) in Hollywood.

The 56-year-old actor picked up the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for his work in the film Django Unchained.

Christoph beat out Lincoln‘s Tommy Lee Jones, Silver Linings Playbook‘s Robert De Niro, Argo‘s Alan Arkin, and The Master‘s Philip Seymour Hoffman for the award!

Christoph was joined on the red carpet at the show by his lovely wife Judith Holste.

    I love this guy to death but still wish dicaprio was nominated and won for this catagory. Leonardos performance was the entire movie. Everyone else was secondary.

    I thought Waltz was great, but there was really no depth to his chararcter and he really was a lead. Once again Leo’s chances are diminished. It breaks my heart because his performance is what made that movie!! Leo totally lost himself and went to another place with Calvin Candie. I think it was one of his best, if not the best performance he’s given so far. I hope the Academy wakes up soon and gives him the recognition he deserves!
