Oscars 2013: Performances to Expect from Adele & More!
The night is finally here and the 2013 Academy Awards are being held at the Dolby Theatre TONIGHT (February 24) in Hollywood.
We’ve been hearing all about the performers being added to the lineup for the last few weeks and we are so excited to see them all hit the stage during the show. Just to refresh your memory, here is what you can expect from all the great performances tonight:
- Adele and Dame Shirley Bassey are expected to perform during the James Bond tribute. Adele will be performing her Oscar-nominated song “Skyfall”!
- Barbra Streisand will be making a return to the Oscars stage and it is rumored that she will sing the song “Memories”.
- There will be a tribute to musicals featuring the cast of Les Miserables (Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Samantha Barks, and Helena Bonham Carter), Dreamgirls‘ Jennifer Hudson, and Chicago‘s Catherine-Zeta Jones.
- Norah Jones will perform the Oscar-nominated song “Everybody Needs a Best Friend” from Ted.
- Aerosmith is rumored to sing “Dream On” in celebration of the Academy Awards‘ 85th Anniversary.
- Kristin Chenoweth will join Seth MacFarlane for a special closing number at the end of the show.
