Jennifer Lawrence: Oscars Press Room Interview Video 2013

Jennifer Lawrence chats with reporters in the press room after winning an award at the 2013 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 24) in Hollywood.

The 22-year-old actress is one of our favorites in an interview format so we had to share this great video with you all!

Jennifer picked up the award for Best Actress for her work in Silver Linings Playbook earlier in the evening.

After finishing up her rounds with the press, Jennifer changed clothes and attended the Vanity Fair Oscars Party.

    adorable, so happy for her!

    Toni Says:

    She’s adorable.

    Lia ESP Says:

I LOVE her but her career is over. The real winners of the Oscars are the nominees, not the winner. The list is so long: Halle Berry, Charlize Theron, Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman, Rachel Weisz, Reese Witherspoon … they are big stars but the “after oscar” movies were bad.

    Frame Says:

I have never been so delighted with the result of AA. So glad for Jen! If only Bradley also won. And it was such funny interview! Damn Jean is one sexy man!!

    Frame Says:

@Lia ESP: Meryl Streep, Kate Winstlet are also winners, but they continue showing amazing performances. Next year we will probably see them again among nominees. Besides, Jennifer has several blockbusters and other movies with great actors and directors. And I won’t be surprised if I see her as a next year’s nominee for Serena which already created a buzz. So her situation is not that bad.

    Carl Says:

Only 22 and already an Oscar winner she has a great career ahead of her.

    Sarah. Says:

I felt bad for her when she fell! So amazing she won. She has a great carreer ahead of her. Very good actress and she is so funny.

    Jessi Says:

She’s hilarious, dorky and self-deprecating, which is refreshing after all those huge ego’s took the stage. Good for her! I do think she’ll have a great career and shouldn’t worry too much.

    Ana Says:

    @Lia ESP:
She will play in Serena next year, directed by Susanne Bier, who won an Oscar for Best Foreign Language film in 2011. Angelina Jolie initially was cast for the role. Ironically, Angie was also supposed to be playing Jen’s role in Silver Linings. So, yeah, you can say she may be nominated next year too.

    Marilyn Says:

@Lia ESP: It actually depends on the actress. Most winners start to get a tad big headed after they snatch the trophy and get lazy in choosing their roles. The difference with Jennifer and women like Meryl and Kate is they’re extremely humble and real, and are forever grateful for their careers. She’ll go far, along with Jessica Chastain. Anne is the one who should be worried; she’s hit and miss with her roles as it is.

    loveher Says:

Her fall will also go down in Oscar’s history as something anecdotal.

    Toya Says:

    @loveher: LOL

    Looking good Jean Dujardin :)))
So happy for her that she won, can’t wait to see her evolve in the years to come…

    Lee Says:

@Sarah.: You don’t need to, her fall was staged, look at video and you can easly see that at first she wanted to grab her dress, but she change her mind just to gain more attention. I liked her but now she’s just another famewh*re, but try so hard to act “normal and down to earth” by talking all the time about food, being akward, boobs and getting drunk. That sad for me because after Winter’s Bone I really was looking for her next projects.

    caroline Says:

she seems very amiable & down to earth however the people in the press room are laughing at everything that she says as if it is the funniest thing ever. They’re all a bunch of sycophants.

  16. 16
    L Says:

My god, she is my spirit animal. I honestly love her so much & she deserved it. and to people saying that her careers over now- wtf? are you honestly braindead? she’s 22! and just won an oscar! so many more doors are opening for her now. morons. bow down to the queen

  17. 17
    Ginger Says:

People did the same last year with Natalie Portman. They hate to see how a young actress wins an Oscar and they dont.

  18. 18
    Lou Says:

Oh! She’s so cute in a clumsy way!

  19. 19
    Warren Says:

I’m happy for her. Jennifer is beautiful

  20. 20
    @L Says:

    You’re a weird person

  21. 21
    amika Says:

@Lia ESP: charlize theron is still a relevant actress and that is a gross generalization. just because she won an oscar doesn’t mean that her career is over because of the history of other actresses. she still has the 3 hunger games movies left (which have a HUGE fanbase) so she’s still going to be extremely relevant for at least a couple more years. that was the most stupid generalization i’ve ever heard.

  22. 22
    Danny Says:

The academy is made up of white, horny 60 year old men. They ALWAYS vote for younger women and this time they voted for an actress who is immature, full of tits, and a great pr person. She was all over kissing up the circuit. Riva was robbed.

  23. 23
    Marika Says:

How do you not love this creature? So adorable.

  24. 24
    truth Says:

Jennifer Lawrence wins because WEINSTEIN’s hustling and did not DESERVE it!!! Her role was supporting and if she go against Anne Hathaway there is no way she has a chance to win. She just happens to be in Harveys movie and by her own admission show up on set without knowing her lines. Her win pure FRAUD and if compare her perfomance to past winners like Kate Winslet or Marion Cotillard or Charlize or Hellen Mirren she looks weak and forgettable,
