Ben Affleck steps out for the first time since shaving his beard after winning an Oscar while heading to the TED conference on Thursday (February 28) in Long Beach, Calif.
The 40-year-old actor took a razor to his beard while celebrating his win for Best Picture at a private party at Craig’s restaurant with his Argo crew.

Smart move to conceal his Hollywood hunk image under a scruffy beard and sway Academy votes, so that the old gits who decide who win an Oscar would saw him as a serious, nerdy film maker.
