I like her, keeps herself to herself and concentrates on her work, not to mention very pretty.

Good for her. I admire any young actor who takes theatre seriously. It is not an easy medium. With her current long brunette hair I can imagine her making a lovely Juliet.

Why can’t they do it right for once and get an Italian actress for the part!?

Sounds like this will be a great decision for her and fans of Romeo and Juliet. She is talented and can act unlike some other Hollywood types that are put in Broadway (because off Broadway isn’t good enough for them) shows!

    Ohhh not again!

Why do they have to pick an old woman like her to play “Juliet”? Why don’t they find some aspiring 14 year-old actress and give her a break? Everywhere you go in the movies parts that should really be played by teenagers are given over to fully-grown adults and the results are most unconvincing, while aspiring and talented young actors and actresses have to struggle for the crumbs that fall off the table.

No, this is all wrong. GIve a convincing and capable kid a break!
