When did Jayden Smith become an ‘above the movie title’ actor?
I know nepotism may be ripe in Hollywood, but this just detracts from the film. I don’t see the characters anymore, I see Will Smith and his son. Not “Character ?” and his “son”. It may have been a novel idea a few years ago when Jayden was a small kid and made his debut with his dad with the OTHER film they were also in together…but again? Seriously?

Ugh. Is it a Scientology film, because it looks like one? And I’m tired of the whole family, though I liked Will Smith in Men in Black.

Why put his son in it, it’s too distracting, if his son’s a good actor he can get movie parts on his own because of his talent not because his father’s using his pull, I won’t be be going to watch this.

I emphatically pass on any film where Will Smith tries to pass his son on as his successor at the box office. Tired of WS.

@Ash: Agreed. I don’t think the movie looks bad at all. I don’t know why people are so up in arms over it.

Cypher was a character in the Matrix who betrayed them to Mr. Smith. Will Smith’s wife, Jada, was in the Matrix. Instead of six degrees of separation, maybe this is only three.
